In the heart of Asolo, under the arcades of the central street, this historic address is the ideal place to find an authentic regional atmosphere. The walls are decorated with old farming tools and the menu includes tasty dishes such as baccalà alla vicentina (codfish with milk), rabbit with herbs and cheese cooked with mushrooms. A special mention for the polenta that reigns in a good part of the dishes, to be enjoyed with cheese, meat or even snails. Charcuterie, cheese and desserts will not leave you indifferent either.

Rustic and welcoming atmosphere inside this old mill where you can experience a cuisine where local products are honored (red radish and mozzarella gratin, tagliatelle with duck ragout, rabbit with boletus). Its vast terrace overlooking the river is a real haven of peace where it is good to lounge in the sunny days. The location in the heart of an important wine-producing region is a must: the cellar is very well stocked. Excellent reputation. The establishment also has 13 bright and relaxing rooms.

This traditional restaurant in the historic center of Belluno occupies an old wine warehouse. It is an intimate and warm setting, with beautiful woodwork and impeccably white tablecloths. Regulars and newcomers alike enjoy coming here to taste its mountain cuisine based on regional specialties, such as skiz, a cheese from Belluno, pastin, a meat marinated in spices, but also polenta and braised meat or, in season, game with mushrooms. For dessert, we offer apple strudel, parfait or nougat and caramel? Friendly staff.

An address with a quite impersonal decor but where the pizzas are varied and delicate (thin dough and easy to digest: gluten-free option for intolerants). You can also try other dishes, such as the Schiz alla Bellunese, a specialty of fresh cheese, typical of the province of Belluno, which is cooked in a frying pan with butter and salt. The taste is not very strong but it is still an interesting discovery! You can also try spaghetti with seafood or a salted strudel with red radish from Treviso.

Follow the path into the Caves of Caglieron and follow the course of the river. You would think you were in a tale of Tolkien, but it is actually reality: at the end of the promenade leads to a small clearing where is a former mill now brasserie. Meat and fish dishes, but it is mainly the setting that is worth the detour. 

The hotel's eponymous restaurant serves elegantly prepared and presented local cuisine, which is lighter than grandmother's recipes while retaining a beautiful local flavour. Perfect to try out speciality dishes such as zip-line canederli (large balls of bread combined with milk, eggs, speck, cheese, spinach) or apple strudel. Excellent gourmet coffee. The decoration is quite unexpected: it is certainly a mountain chalet, but as its name suggests, it is decorated in a nod to American westerns.

Open to the valley bordered by the peaks of the Cristallo, Anteo and Faloria, Cortina is a safe bet for those who are fond of tradition and do not give up a certain class. The restaurant, with its elegant wooded rooms, offers the best of local culinary specialities, concocted with love. Here you can try the filet with speck or the potato and lard ravioli and, in season, tempting game recipes and fresh mushroom dishes. Also hotel: the rooms are warm and welcoming.

A rather rare address in Cortina, and above all a practical and inexpensive stop for a snack in the heart of the resort. In this unpretentious and well-located shop, pizzas are prepared to take away, even if, in summer and winter, a few small outdoor and indoor tables also allow you to sit on the terrace to enjoy your share on the spot. Nothing to say about the quality. The pizzas have a thin and crunchy dough, the toppings are generous, with a choice of tomatoes, mozzarella, mushrooms, salami, peppers and ricotta, among others.

Contrary to what its name suggests, this restaurant is not located at the Pordoi Pass, but in the heart of the village of Arabba. This mountain inn and restaurant with geraniums on the balconies and wainscoting everywhere is renowned for its excellent regional cuisine at reasonable prices. There are specialities with nettle, speck from the Alto Adige and other specialities in sauce that keep body and soul together with the cold. There are also excellent pizzas.

In the city center, here is Il Vizietto, a good restaurant that manages to bring together in the plate local products that, a priori, were not necessarily programmed to meet in the kitchen. Most of the dishes cultivate the pluralism of flavors, like the local sausage with a Mediterranean risotto, the lamb chops with red fruits or the tuna tartar with burrata. Speaking of cheese, cheesecake is a hit for dessert. Also try the chocolate fondant, a real treat.

Elegant address, whose beautiful room is furnished with antique wooden furniture for a welcoming and refined setting in the central square of the city. The chef and patron Stefano Rebuli offers dishes of the best regional tradition, tinted with a touch of creativity, rigorously seasonal. For example, the risotto with chicken livers and guinea fowl with white grapes, to be discovered or savoured by the connoisseur. Homemade pasta is perfect, vegetables seasoned with fresh herbs, well grilled meats and delicate desserts.

Le Borgo is nestled in an ^18th-century villa. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and in winter it's even warmer thanks to a large open fire. The careful cuisine is intimately Bellunese, as evidenced by the minestrone d'orzo e fagioli, a barley and bean soup. Fresh pasta and game dishes are equally excellent. Finish your meal with a glass of amaro dello speziale. Three simple, comfortable guest rooms are also available.

Excellent products served in a typical, welcoming setting, and sourced from kilometer zero since we're on anagroturismo concept. If you're not planning to try out the restaurant (which, however, is well worth the detour on its own), take a moment to wander through this soothing larch forest, sample the region's best hot chocolate and sit out on the terrace to enjoy a delicious moment, high above the Ampezzo valley. You could even fill up on their delicious artisan cheeses.

The restaurant of the Ghedina lake is located in a fairy-tale place, which we advise you to reach on foot, through mountains and forests (see " Stroll > Ghedina lake). The main attraction of this place is the lakeside chalet, with its amazing blue-green colours in summer. A la carte, specialities of grilled meats (the most prestigious) on hot stone. On sunny days, a terrace also allows you to take a moment to relax and prolong your lunch and enjoy the magic of the panorama on the lake.

A gourmet paradise in one of the most sumptuous places in the Dolomites! You are here at an altitude of 2,200 metres, in the middle of nature, 30 minutes drive from Cortina d'Ampezzo and 1 km from Passo Giau. Situated on a terrace, the mountain offers itself to you. The restaurant opened in 1970 and is now run by Aurelio's son Gigi. A quality cuisine with a wide and tasty range of dishes. In the summer, workshops are organized on the cooking of wild plants. A botanist accompanies you to collect a flora that will soon be on your plate

It's one of the best tables in town. If the room is not very bright and the mountain chalet decoration is inevitably a bit kitsch, the plate is delicious and copious and the service is impeccable. A la carte, Venetian specialities adapted to the season. Special mention for the tasty sliced beef and its red fruit sauce. The house speciality remains nevertheless the grilled meat, minimum 500 grams all the same! The wine list matches the dishes and offers a large choice of Italian vintages. The homemade desserts are also tempting.

A modern restaurant and design bar. Good atmosphere, breakfast cappuccino and morning brioch, evening cocktails when the atmosphere is animated, passing through the pasta plates and especially raw ham, some of which are refined for 16 or 24 months, other smoked fire. A real specialty that differentiates it from its neighbors.

A good trattoria pizzeria a little eccentric, with a nice atmosphere and the welcome to the Italian boss. Guests who visit the place for homemade pasta dishes, especially.

Both restaurant and bar, it is the living heart of Arabba where people come to eat and drink at all hours. For they are the only kitchens open non-stop (limited to pizzas outside meal times), very convenient at the time of closing time. We tasted a delicious Capricciosa pizza. Warm and friendly welcome by a smiling and jovial team. Mountain atmosphere with local TV, music a little too loud in the background (you have to speak loudly to discuss) and mischievous old men at the counter.
