Algues au Rythme is an association created by the young people of Arradon. The initial idea was to propose an event for the young generation, and more precisely a concert of current music, outdoors. The event has grown and expanded with success. From one evening, it has grown to two days, then three days, and now welcomes street arts and children's shows for a free evening, open to all. Shows are also performed, upstream, in schools, EHPAD and residential homes. This festival is also committed to a sustainable development approach and to raising awareness of ecological practices.

In the 1980s, with the first Tornado, Dart or the famous Hobie Cat, so characteristic with their coloured sails and their "banana" hulls, the sport catamaran became a legend. In 1988, the Catagolfe d'Arradon was created, the first of a long series of multihull raids and regattas. Since then, with the support of the Société des régates de Vannes and its partners, the Catagolfe d'Arradon has become one of the main sport catamaran regattas in France and one of the top three in Europe.

If there is a colourful charity event, it is this one! Every summer, these nautical jousts see costumed participants representing about twenty communes of the Auray region compete on the Saint-Goustan lake. It is therefore a dynamic and good-natured event that you can attend, and which takes place throughout the day. Beyond a friendly and unusual event, the aim is to raise funds for CCAS and local associations, in favour of children in difficult social or medical situations.

Organized in the middle of summer, on July 20 and 21, 2019, in the heart of Bois du Poulbert, the Paka Festival is the first music and entertainment festival for children and adults organized in La Trinité-sur-Mer. A festival that the organizing team wanted to be family-friendly above all. The festival is committed to a friendly experience by offering two days of music and shows for young and old, with a stage open to live performances for the former and a rich musical programme for the latter. The purpose of this first edition is to bring together the inhabitants of La Trinité-sur-Mer and the surrounding area while opening up to tourists and curious people from all walks of life. The team, composed of about twenty organizers, most of them in their thirties in Morbihan, has surrounded themselves with some 150 volunteers for the project. In the top three of the organizing team, we find friends, all attached to their territory. Steven Hemono, the festival manager, is a former bar manager who has organized many events, parties and festival covers, Georges Le Guennec, the artistic director, is a former film producer for major international festivals, also the creator of the Paka brand, and finally the couple of travel bloggers Arthur Crinquette and Claire Le Bourlot who are better known as "Les droneurs" and bring together a community of more than 60 000 people on social networks.

All are specialized in their field and share the same desire: to make this event an extraordinary moment and to make the festival one of the essential events of the summer period.

On the programme: concerts, entertainment, shows for young and old, but also a strong commitment to reduce the ecological impact of the festival (use of non-polluting vehicles, organic food, waste sorting), while emphasizing the development of sustainable actions (reduced paper consumption, dry toilets, recycled paper furniture and a portion of the profits donated to the association Les Mains Dans Le Sable, which organizes beach cleaning in Brittany). A great event is coming up!

Would you like to dance with your feet in the sand? Les Électros de Quiberon is the electronic music festival of the beaches of Quiberon Bay. Supported by the Hermine Records label, it offers several dates throughout the summer. Each evening features artists from the electro scene. Some evenings are free and others cost 5 € per admission.

Yet another tourism fair? Certainly not, Little Smartass faith! In this exhibition, as its name suggests, nature tourism is in the spotlight. In 2019, the show opens the borders of its destinations, with a regional offer of course, but also national and international. His visit is a source of inspiration for day, weekend or weekly excursions, sometimes with family, sometimes with friends, sometimes with lovers. Sports enthusiasts will find new ideas for outdoor activities, hikers on foot, by bike or on horseback, and new routes between land and sea. Heritage lovers will notice the inexhaustible diversity of Breton culture. Tourist destinations, accommodation, emblematic sites, museums, leisure activities: it's as if you've set foot in a guide. The Vannes Marathon is not 1, but 4 sporting events. 1 marathon of 42,195 km very exactly with 2000 participants. 1 duet race, the "Duo de l'Hermine", one partner starting for 19 km, the other for 23 km, with 700 teams. 1 race of 10 km, "Les foulées du golfe", with 2000 runners. 1 company relay, in 9 km, 10 km, 12 km and 11 km, for 300 teams. The proposed circuits are among the most beautiful running circuits in the world, thanks to the itineraries that follow the coastal paths of the Gulf of Morbihan.

Every year since 1928, the Festival d'Arvor (formerly Fêtes d'Arvor) has brought together thousands of people, culminating in the crowning of the Queen of Arvor on the steps of the town hall. The Vannes festival committee organizes events around Breton culture, highlighting the dynamism of the groups and bagadoù: fest-noz, shows, sea chanteys, dance initiations and costume parades punctuate these festive days. This year, the festival celebrates the 80th anniversary of the Liberation of Vannes, which took place on August 4, 1944.
