This winegrower - at the head of a family estate created in 1920 - is very famous for his production of Condrieu, including La Petite Côte and Les Chaillets, one of the best of the appellation, his red Saint Joseph cuvée "L'Amarybelle vieilles vignes" and the "Grande Cuvée Les Serines", without forgetting the white Saint Joseph made with old marsanne vines. In a beautiful wood-framed establishment, the Brasserie du Pilat is part of a remarkable setting with a terrace opening onto the surrounding countryside. Visits to the brewery are possible to discover the production of this entirely organic drink. The brewery is traditional and the beers, balanced between malty and fruity notes, are brewed with spring water from the Monts du Pilat. Unpasteurized and unfiltered, you will find at the Brasserie du Pilat 8 different beers: 5 blondes and 3 amber as well as seasonal beers such as Giboulée or Fleur de Noël. All beers are produced from malt, spices and hops.

The heights around Saint-Étienne harbor incredible resources. The two founders of La Source Distillerie exploit the plants of these Auvergne hills to create local spirits. Two gentian-based aperitifs, "La petite soeur" and "La grande soeur", appeal to Suze lovers. A highly original pastis forézien has also been added to the range. Elderberry, raspberry and vine peach wines complete the range. La Source Distillerie has also turned its attention to digestifs, notably with L'Instant forézien. Local resources have enabled the production of 100% local vinegars and mustards, as well as delicious honeys and royal jelly.

Didier Morion, a passionate independent winegrower, manages his 11 ha of vineyards with a masterful hand. His first vintage was born in 1993. Since then, he has never ceased to improve the quality of his products, which are made with the help of state-of-the-art techniques. AOP Condrieu with the Vents d'Anges or a sweet viognier with the cuvée Maëllyse. 5,5 ha of the domain are in Saint Joseph, roussane and marsanne grapes, and produce the cuvée "Cranilles". Following the family tradition and attached to his terroir, Maxime Verzier proposes: Condrieu Authentic in organic and biodynamic methods on the hillsides overlooking Chavanay; Saint-Joseph on the Blondeau and Ballustre plots facing the Pilat and old Syrah vines on the famous Madone d'Izeras plot. The oldest domain of Chavanay finds its origins in 1797. An ancestral know-how - historical domain of the côte-rôtie AOP -, exceptional vines developed by Romain Decelle who converted the domain to organic viticulture. The Malleval distillery was created in 1960 by Marius Paret. It still exists over 50 years later! Today, Mrs Morfin and Mr Columbus bought the distillery (now known as Distillerie distillery) but the method of operation is the same. According to the artisanal tradition, the spirits and spirits of the Pilat and the Rhone Valley are still decorated in the same way: apricot, apple, Williams pear (of course), raspberry, mirabelle, kirsch, mirabell, country or chestnut (under the name "La Châtaignette"). Domaine de l'Herboriste is an artisan distillery located in the heart of the Pilat Natural Park. Thomas Pachalgikian wanted to create a range of exceptional liqueurs and spirits. He offers a gin scented with citrus notes, and three delicious liqueurs, with thyme, rosemary and sapinette. The recipes are worked in such a way that honey replaces sugar. The estate will open its doors to visitors in spring 2024, with organized workshops.

Château Grillet, a mythical terroir for all wine lovers. An appellation in itself for this 3.5 hectare estate in the communes of Vérin and Saint-Michel-sur-Rhône. Located on a steep terrace, this south-facing vineyard has existed since Roman times. The wine is made exclusively from Viognier. This rich, peachy, apricot-scented wine can be aged for several years. Blaise Pascal and Thomas Jefferson already consumed this nectar which is worth, depending on the year, between 180 and 300 € a bottle, provided you can find some!

Bernard Levet, following four generations of winegrowers, has devoted himself since 1983 to the unique but renowned Côte-Rôtie. His 4.5 ha of vines - under integrated viticulture - are divided into 11 plots, the majority of which have been planted for more than 35 years, on the sites of "Landonne" - cuvée Maestria -, "Chavaroche" - cuvée La Péroline. Cuvée Améthyste of a beautiful intensity. Tannins well present. Aromas of red fruits (blackcurrant, raspberry, blackberry) and animal spices (musk, leather) characterize this côte-rôtie which only needs to age.
