The shop has just expanded by investing in the adjoining premises to open a cheese dairy. Les Fleurons de Lomagne has been in existence for more than 15 years now, and due to its success, other boutiques have been opened in Auch, Condom and Agen.

The Cave d'Embidoure is not only a place to sell the wines and spirits of the Embidoure estate, it is also a delicatessen. The beautiful store offers products stamped "Gascony" to the gastronomes. You will find some of the most delicious and appreciable products of the department: wines, armagnacs, duck, goose, organic oils, cooked dishes and desserts... The store works with well-known producers, such as Maison Tête (from Valence-sur-Baïse) for foie gras and rillettes, or Marcel Trépout (from Vic-Fezensac) for armagnac.

Friday mornings are a hive of activity on Rue Nationale, the artery running through the town from one end to the other. Romain Biscan, the founder of this craft micro-brewery, learned the subtleties of his craft from brewmaster Frédéric Sannier. This small organic grocery store in the heart of the town allows locals and visitors alike to stock up on organic, local and ethical food products, most of which are sold in bulk. Herbal teas, beers, honeys, pâtés, breads, cereals, fresh fruit and vegetables... The team sources from local producers and farms, keeping the middleman to a minimum. The emphasis here is on the local economy and on farming on a human scale.

Nicolas, Yann and Sébastien discovered beer during their student years in Amiens and Lille. They loved it so much, they decided to become brewers. They set up in Miradoux in 2012 and equipped themselves with a 100-liter brewery. Neither too big, to be able to continue brewing by hand, nor too small, to be able to satisfy enthusiasts. The three companions perpetuate a tradition of good organic beers, unfiltered, unpasteurized and refermented in the bottle.

The Domaine d'Embidoure is a women's business. Nathalie and Sandrine Menegazzo inherited the estate in 2006. They perpetuate the work of the vineyard, by practicing a reasoned culture and by bringing a great care to the methods of wine making. We particularly appreciate the white wines, dry or sweet, which have won several awards. Thus, the Cuvée des Filles 2017 presents a beautiful balance between chardonnay, sauvignon and petit manseng. It goes perfectly with fish and white meats and collects medals in competitions.

Armagnacs, flocs, rosés, whites and reds... All the colours of the Gers are present in this estate which has three. The winegrower selects the most beautiful grapes to raise well typed Côtes-de-Gascogne and flocs. Our palate leans towards the range of red wines, with pronounced accents. The Martissens cuvée is a blend of tannat (90%) and cabernet sauvignon (10%) that goes very well with duck. The cuvée Le Secret de Léna, the top of the range of the estate, is made from hand-picked grapes and aged in barrels.

Every Thursday and Saturday morning, producers, traders and shoppers set up shop in the Saint-Clar market hall. People come from the surrounding hamlets and villages to stock up on fresh produce: vegetables, fruit, poultry... In summer, the procession of hawkers joins the battalion of producers. They liven up the village center in a cheerful, friendly atmosphere. The market is in full swing during the garlic festival in early August. Producers of Lomagne white garlic show off their braids of garlic heads, to take home as souvenirs.

Francis and Marie Gamot, producers of white garlic from Lomagne, have transformed an old farm storehouse into a museum-boutique. This museum allows visitors to discover the specificities of this garlic, which has a PGI label, and its benefits. A video room shows the complete cycle of its cultivation, from sowing to marketing. In the large room, braids, as well as local recipes, preserves and even garlic skin sculptures await you. The escapade is all the more pleasant as the Maison de l'Ail is located in the heart of the Lomagnole countryside.
