CHARCUTERIE MAZZONETTO

Charcuterie
5/5
1 review

There isn't a person in Lectou who doesn't know Pascal Mazzonetto, the tall Gascon king of cured meats. His charcuteries are masterpieces: sausages, dry sausages, dried duck breasts, lomos, chorizos and also terrines and pâtés such as the delicious cochon de lait farci or the terrine de joue de porc persillée. Fresh meat is also available, mainly pork. Pascal buys his meat from local producers, in particular for his black Bigorre pork. He has also started an organic livestock farm. Cooked dishes are also delicious.

Delicatessen

1 review

In the land of D'Artagnan, the Fleurons de Lomagne give pride of place to local producers who are concerned about their environment and the quality of their products. A 100% female team advises you and offers you with a smile a very beautiful range of regional products: sausage or duck heart, terrines, pâtés, wines, armagnacs, oils and condiments... The choice is wide and ideal to compose a gourmet basket to offer or take home. In addition, there is a wide range of utensils and tableware in the colours of the region. The shop has just expanded by investing in the adjoining premises to open a cheese dairy. Les Fleurons de Lomagne has been in existence for more than 15 years now, and due to its success, other boutiques have been opened in Auch, Condom and Agen.

They set up in Miradoux in 2012 and equipped themselves with a 100-liter brewery. Neither too big, to be able to continue brewing by hand, nor too small, to be able to satisfy enthusiasts. The three companions perpetuate a tradition of good organic beers, unfiltered, unpasteurized and refermented in the bottle.

DOMAINE D'EMBIDOURE

Winery

The Domaine d'Embidoure is a women's business. Nathalie and Sandrine Menegazzo inherited the estate in 2006. They perpetuate the work of the vineyard, by practicing a reasoned culture and by bringing a great care to the methods of wine making. We particularly appreciate the white wines, dry or sweet, which have won several awards. Thus, the Cuvée des Filles 2017 presents a beautiful balance between chardonnay, sauvignon and petit manseng. It goes perfectly with fish and white meats and collects medals in competitions.

Winery

Armagnacs, flocs, rosés, whites and reds... All the colours of the Gers are present in this estate which has three. The winegrower selects the most beautiful grapes to raise well typed Côtes-de-Gascogne and flocs. Our palate leans towards the range of red wines, with pronounced accents. The Martissens cuvée is a blend of tannat (90%) and cabernet sauvignon (10%) that goes very well with duck. The cuvée Le Secret de Léna, the top of the range of the estate, is made from hand-picked grapes and aged in barrels.
