As a result, Fleurance was awarded the "Commune touristique" label of excellence in 2013. The Carnival and Astronomy Festival attract large numbers of visitors. Two companies specializing in natural plant products and a research laboratory on the therapeutic properties of plants place the town at the top of this sector.
