A real festive institution in Tournai, Le Bouchon is a cult for the passion it puts into beer more than for the number of labels on the menu. Local or artisanal breweries are honored, from Hainaut or elsewhere: Cazeau, Dupont, Dubuisson, de la Senne, Boon, Cantillon... A beer is more specifically highlighted each week. A small stage allows various musical groups to perform in an indescribable good mood.

A few steps from the Grand-Place, this café seems to have remained intact since the 1900s. One meets here a flock of regulars. At noon, you can pick from the small menu to have a quick lunch (sandwiches, salads, daily specials...), and the rest of the time you can enjoy the good Belgian beers. As its name indicates, the atmosphere of this small establishment is warm, friendly, so much so that this nice café is sometimes overwhelmed with customers looking for an authentic setting that represents so well the conviviality of the Tournaisiens!

Tam-Tam is a tiki bar with a tropical atmosphere, and with exotic, caliente or sexotic cocktails some would say. Because in this long list, most of the cocktails on the menu are forbidden to under 18s: the Maousse Costo (very loaded!) or the Erotiques for example. There are also the Déjantés du Tam-Tam and in those, we like the Nana (rum and pineapple juice, served in a fresh pineapple). As a good tiki, the Tam-Tam serves a lot of compositions based on good rum and offers a neat bamboo decoration with tropical plants, to warm up in winter.

The Maison des Huit Heures is one of the last monuments of socialism, and the source of many workers' demands, notably the fight for the 3-8 system: 8 hours of work, 8 hours of leisure, 8 hours of rest. It's a must to go there at market time on Sunday mornings, when a colourful population rubs shoulders. You'll be happy to sit down with strangers and chat. CTS scotch is invariably drunk by the cask. Curious non-union members will also find something to their liking here, with the attractive XXL-format photos of Charleroi.

Founded in the Middle Ages, it is now a place of worship and a historic site. Surrounded by magnificent gardens, the abbey offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere. This small rustic house stands in front of a quiet pond bordered by tall trees, in the middle of the woods surrounding the old abbey of Saint-Denis. The owner has composed a nice list of special beers: Moinette, Chimay and Orval are present and of course, the St-Feuillien, including the Triple on the barrel. Very busy, especially on weekends, there are also fishermen, who have renamed the place "Les Joyeux Asticots", after their company. Table on a beautiful outdoor terrace to enjoy the sun.

Imagipark is a leisure center located in Mons. It offers a variety of activities for children and adults. Attractions include an obstacle course, ball pools, a bouncy castle, climbing walls, slides, a small car circuit, foam games and a psychomotor zone. Parents can watch their children from the panoramic indoor tavern while enjoying a drink. Birthday parties and multi-activity activities such as paintball, go-karting and bubble soccer can also be organized.

Set in a motley brocante of bric-a-brac, but where everything is for sale, Chez ta mère is a troquet of a kind never before seen in Charleroi, brimming with family souvenirs and kitsch knick-knacks. It's a bit ofEnglish Touch that has settled in the City of Doudou with Paddington. As soon as you see the sign (in the shape of a London subway sign), you are immediately drawn into the bath of this charming tea room: flowery wallpaper, big carpet, comfortable armchairs and kitschy porcelain and cushions: all the codes of the tea room are there. You can stop there to drink one, because it would be a shame to miss theAfternoon tea served in the right way: with sandwiches, pastries and delicious scones, all home-made.

Do you love cats? Then you'll be delighted to get your dose of purrs at Carolo Cat, a pretty cat bar in the lower town. The interior is as cozy as you could wish and, of course, fully equipped for their boarders, with plenty of overhead access and a real catwalk from which the furry creatures can observe customers before deciding whether or not they'll come to them (it's up to the cats to approach, we don't solicit them). Snacks and hot and cold drinks are prepared by Carole and her team. Cats for adoption, except her own.

Blandine Grandchamps is following in the footsteps of her illustrious father, while revisiting the genre and bringing a new dynamism to it. Fafouille's daughter, the young lady has taken over the second family space dedicated to used books, in the recently refurbished Passage de la Bourse. Here, you can sit down for a drink and browse through a book from one of the many themes on offer. You then choose whether to buy the book or come back and continue reading a little later. Blandine also organizes intimate concerts and events in her stylish boutique.

Here's a typically Thudinian bistro... l'Estaminet showcases the city's two spearheads, folklore and inland waterway transport. As you gaze out over the nearby Sambre, you can sample the various specialities on offer, including a wide selection of Belgian beers, especially local ones. It's also a place to revisit the world, and in particular the world of Thudin, as the regulars sit by the bar and go over it with a fine-tooth comb. L'Estaminet has been awarded the "Bistrot de Terroir" label, and has a pleasant floating terrace throughout the summer months.

Ivan Corbisier, who already has a successful career as a wine merchant behind him, has taken over this wine bar and dining cellar. You'll find a fine assortment of bottles, including organic and natural wines, but you'll also appreciate the super-casual bar feel, with large armchairs to better enjoy your glass and high tables perfect for sharing generous boards of cheese and charcuterie. What's more, you can enjoy oysters that arrive every week straight from Brittany. Concerts and tastings are regularly organized.

Just a few steps from the Théâtre de la Place, the Randaxhe is a typical Outremeuse café and a veritable neighborhood institution. The house was built in 1896 and the café dates back to 1917, making it over a century old! Furnished in the old-fashioned style (the decor has remained unchanged since 1969), the interior exudes an atmosphere reminiscent of Simenon's novels. When the weather's fine, the huge, beautiful terrace is always packed with locals, tourists and artists from Liège. Several beers are available on draught, including the famous CTS scotch.

There's no other lounge bar in Spa. At least, not like Annick's, where the musical ambience is well chosen. The decor of small armchairs, pretty lighting and lots of original objects is a success. Theme evenings (Disco, Retro House...). A sort of local "place to be ", you'll feel right at home here, and you'll usually extend your evening into the middle of the night with a few beers or cocktails. For quieter moments, table soccer, billiards and even board games are at your disposal. A must at Spa.

The 650-seat cabaret puts on over 100 shows a year. This alternative art studio is an association that aims to create artistic emulation at the crossroads of disciplines: shows, concerts, exhibitions, film screenings, dance, performances, experiments of all kinds, workshops for visual artists... the program is varied. We're happy to welcome you for a vernissage, a jazz jam or a small concert. Regular events such as "slow session de jazz acoustique", "ukulélé sur Meuse" and "carte blanche au conservatoire" are well worth a stopover.

In the heart of Liège, Blues-Sphère organizes concerts, jam sessions, evening shows and blues events. A true music enthusiast, Mr. Brillmaker programs "black roots" concerts, blues and African music, three or four times a week. The place, a little confined at the end of a long corridor, lends itself well to the exercise. The stage is ideally placed for the whole room to enjoy. La Grand Poste is THE big project in Liège in recent years. The former Hôtel des Postes, a building dating back to 1901, is home to a co-working space, a two-storey food court, a space for start-ups and a micro-brewery, Brasserie de Liège. As you enter, your nose will be seized by the scent of hops and yeast! There's a whole host of home-brewed beers of all kinds to choose from. Settle in and rub shoulders with the ULiège journalism students who have classes here. Rooftop open at weekends.

Le Moderne is a venue, a company, an art gallery and a center for living culture. There's always something going on in this former cinema in the Sainte-Walburge district. Here, the emphasis is on young artists, which is why workshops are organized for young people (but not only). The theater company, regional, Belgian and even international artists perform here, and the evenings of shows and vernissages are always enriching in more ways than one.

It is said to be the world's oldest casino, built in 1763. Built in a neoclassical style, it still plays host to numerous slot, roulette, blackjack and poker players (weekly tournaments are organized). The casino also boasts a brasserie with a focus on meats and grilled meats. The bar offers all kinds of drinks and cocktails. This is the jazz club par excellence. What's more, it's housed in the home of Jacques Pelzer himself. Concerts are held here at 9 p.m. sharp, every Wednesday, and from time to time in a small, intimate room that fills up quickly (come a little before the concert). What's more, you can dine here on affordable home cooking (reservations essential). Varied jazzy programming, cocoon atmosphere, great vibe where neophytes and authentic jam enthusiasts mingle. We love this unique, high-perched venue.

This café-théâtre offers live shows, mainly comedies, all year round, welcoming big names in Belgian and French one-man shows , as well as plays, mainly boulevard theater. Renaud Rutten, Didier Boclinville, Albert Cougnet, Pierre Theunis, Bérénice and Guy Lemaire have all performed here. Shows run from Wednesday to Sunday. The Saint-Hu'Bar is the place to be for beer lovers: the bar offers a choice of draughts and bottles of almost a hundred references! For the undecided, the staff will be happy to help you discover local specialties. The vintage advertising panels for the beers serve as a directory or menu. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and lively. We recommend that you accompany your tasting on the terrace with a plate of cold cuts and cheese.

The construction date of 1741 appears on the lintel of the entrance door. A listed monument, Château de Commanster is a former hunting lodge built by Henri-François Baptiste, alderman at the Court of Salm and mayor of Gouvy. Particularly noteworthy are the carved oak panelling on the staircase, the coat of arms and some of the doors. A place in its element, or rather in its hops! Visitors can enjoy Cervoise de Commanster, an exceptional dark beer, in front of a crackling fireplace.

With more than 300 beers (kegs or bottles), Barnabeer is the bistro in the centre of Namur with the widest range of beers. More than 50 Belgian breweries are represented, which is almost a record. The microbreweries have the lion's share and all the available Trappist beers are present. In this former tax office, everything reminds us of the love for hops. At Ratin-Tôt, we drink more than 90 different beers, most of which are Belgian. The oldest estaminet in Namur (1616!), one of the oldest in Belgium, reminds us of the splendor of yesteryear. Local curiosity, its owner David Rouyer does not hesitate to tell that in season, it happens that tourists pass the head inside "just to see" this address impossible to circumvent.
