Domaine du Pont de Livier is a winegrowing estate located in Saint Georges sur Layon, Maine-et-Loire. It offers guest rooms with private bathroom and toilet, as well as an independent entrance and parking in the estate courtyard. The rooms are recent and offer good bedding. The owners, Flore and Emmanuel Rialland, are also winegrowers, and offer tastings and purchases of their wines. The table d'hôtes is available on reservation, with a minimum of 4 people. The estate can also be privatized for groups. The owners will be happy to advise visitors on places to visit in the area. The estate also offers activities such as wine tasting, hiking and cycling. Free wifi and parking are available on site.

Rooms have free Wi-Fi, breakfast is included and there's free parking. Some rooms also feature kitchens. Guests can also enjoy the indoor swimming pool.

In Parnay, Philippe and Agnès Porché open the doors of their certified organic estate to let you discover their winemaking know-how. Here, they honor the wines whose names are reminiscent of the court of the ancient nobility: the Troubadour, the Page, the Fou, the Jouvencelle... Meticulous wine-making allows them to offer beautiful and tasty white, rosé and red wines and delicate bubbles! Finalists since 2019 of the Trophées de l'oenotourisme, medallists 2020 and 2021, they offer several activities around wine, fun and educational.

The famous "Clos d'entre les Murs" contains walls with holes through which the vines gain access to the sun in order to get the necessary calories for its ripening. A very nice visit for a site that mixes history, geology, techniques and pleasures. One can taste and buy the wines produced here, from a wonderful variety of saumur-champigny, the Clos du Château, which will delight the amateurs of notes of liquorice, to the very famous dry white wine the Clos d'entre les Murs, of a great richness, which presents a very fruity and slightly wooded nose. The Filliatreau family plays a leading role in the production of red wines from the Saumur region. The estate has established itself on the most prestigious tables as one of the emblems of the Loire Valley. More than 45 hectares of land have been certified organic since 2020, producing wines of remarkable lightness and fruitiness. Established since 1885, Langlois-Château operates its own vineyards and controls all its wines. A part of the vineyard of the domain is labeled organic. The layout of the site and the store allows you to discover the estate in a playful way. One literally "drinks" the words of his guide for visits in 4 acts: oenology course, stages of wine making, 300 m of underground path and commented tasting. After this introduction, you will surely hesitate between the fruity taste of a white Saumur, the power of a Saumur-Champigny, and many others.

The discovery of the vineyard and the presentation of the different wines of the domain are done in the magnificent vaulted and paved cellar. Its cellars are steeped in history, as the Cossé family has occupied the place for over five centuries! The dark-coloured Anjou-Villages-Brissac evokes leather and undergrowth, while the light-coloured Rosé d'Anjou will refresh you on sunny days. The Cabernet d'Anjou, for its part, offers aromas combining red fruits with mint and pepper. The price of the bottles (competitive) ranges between 7 and 8 €.

The wine-growing tradition is well rooted in the history of the Château de Montreuil-Bellay vineyard. With its 16 hectares of hand-harvested vines producing Loire brine and crémant, the estate has become known for its good wines. Jacques Brochet is a caring character who welcomes us with all the hospitality you can expect. His battle horse? Manual harvesting: he is holding, and against the current, one of the few wine growers in the region is to proceed in this way. Indeed, whether it be for chardonnay or Sauvignon (simple and successful vintages each year), sorting is important and depends on the quality of the wines. What matters to him is that we must rediscover in wine the taste of the cluster, which is yes, but not sufficiently stressed in general. His red anjous bear witness to the aromas of red fruit, which is still in the traditional méthode of lattes, produced in traditional methods, offering no acidity but restoring the freshness of the fruit. Its old vines produced each year is a nectar for the palate, aged 13 months in oak barrel, with roasted aromas, which fill your mouth. The coteaux poil poil comes from plots nestled on the heights of Maligné, a lovely village located near Martigné-Briand.

Since 1927, the Cady has expanded their exploitation over four generations. It extends to this day 22 hectares of coats of slopes dominating the Layon, on a shale area and quartz. The famous coteaux of coteaux, of which the most medalest of all, the «Volupté», respect the authenticity of this wine, whose grape vine expresses itself best. Most of the other Aoc are also produced on the estate, including red, mainly by cabernet sauvignon… which will be eaten in a large cellar, at the counter, where taking the time to settle around wooden drums for the occasion and listening to Alexander, the last of the lineage to be resumed., speak with passion about the field. Château d'Épiré is one of the oldest estates in the Savennières appellation. The estate has been handed down from father to son since 1882, and today the fifth generation of the Bizard family looks after 11 hectares of hillsides overlooking the Loire, 9 of which are dedicated to the Savennières AOC. The three parcels located around the property produce three different vintages. A guided tour of the cellars will allow you to discover the secrets of the wine making process. It is also possible to discover the vineyard (1h30 guided tour) and its sublime panorama.

Amélie Neau continues the name and production of this magnificent family estate. The wines produced perfectly represent the typicality of the saumur and champigny appellations: supple and richly aromatic, they are the result of rigorous work in organic farming conversion. Regular in its balance and delicate tannins, Le Clos des Châtains is unanimously acclaimed every year. The 3-colour Les Loups cuvées are the quintessence of the estate and Amélie still has vast projects.

Marie-Françoise Ratron and her team manage this beautiful, rich vineyard nestled between forest, hillside and tufa rock. It is from the latter that the estate's exclusive Cabernet Franc grapes derive all their minerality. Some of the vines are over 50 years old and have been passed down through four generations. The Ratron family's production is in conversion to organic farming, with manual harvesting, all on terroirs typical of the appellation, without chemical fertilizers or industrial yeasts or enzymes.

Pascal and Genevieve installed their estate between Montjean and Pommeraye. The Donatien accesses recently joined them for a third generation which puts in condition the visitors to taste the white or red anjous, gamays, cabernets, rosy of the Loire or anjous sparkling Schist of the Loire concocted according to the traditional method. The large ones and beautiful slopes which dominate the Loire, directed very well, offer wines fruity and full with flavours (white and rosy wines). The closed eyes are retained: Anjou the slope-of-the-Loire Pierre Carrée, a true very favorite each year. Its dress with the gold reflections is the visual expression of its flavours of chenin: papaw, date, pineapple, candied apricot, quince, cooked apples and honey. The red anjous and villages are often "black inks", creams, with tannins quasi absent, and can remain on the ripe fruit freshness.

The house's crémants de Loire and saumurs bruts sparkle in the mouth, it's gaiety itself! So why the term "widow"? This was Élisabeth Amiot's wish when she took over the business from her late husband Armand Amiot. 134 years after its beginnings, its wine is known all over the world! The Leblanc estate is first and foremost a family business where fathers and sons have succeeded each other in the vineyards since 1662. It was in 1851 that Etienne Bouvet founded with Célestine Ladubay the exceptional House that bears their names. Today, the House has an elegant collection of "Brut de Loire" with its vintage vintages Saphir, Trésor, Instinct; a unique know-how in the art of blending and vinification of Chenin and Chardonnay grapes. Domaine des Galloires is a family-run vineyard that has been cultivating land and vines for 7 generations. The estate offers remarkable views of the slopes overlooking the Loire. It offers a wide range of wines, from Crémant de Loire to Anjou, Malvoisie and Muscadet. The vineyards benefit from a temperate oceanic climate thanks to the influence of the Loire, which creates a corridor where the wind plays a drying role. The micaschist and gneiss soils ensure good water drainage, creating optimal conditions for the production of concentrated wines. The estate offers free self-guided tours (booking required), as well as a treasure hunt for children. It's also possible to book picnic outings, with menus based on fresh seasonal produce.
