Bayonne's Halles centrales have been in existence for over 150 years. Located in the heart of the city on the banks of the River Nive, they are renowned for their renovated architecture, including the carreau, an open-air extension on certain days of the week for local farmers' markets, and a host of events throughout the year. Les Halles, a veritable "lung", is home to some twenty artisanal food shops, a fine showcase for local know-how. "A visit to Les Halles de Bayonne is an initiation into the world of gastronomy!

Here, you can taste before you buy, and we also prepare gourmet platters to share. Tapas and toasts of the day are also available to order. Small cellar too.

Maria, Flore and Mathieu, passionate about sustainable gastronomy, are the trio behind the taste and flavor coaching at Les Halles de Biarritz. Escape with ethically selected spices without borders, antipasti, condiments, honey, jams, soups... We also offer candied fruit and homemade products such as cookies and granola. Sustainable, with the finest signatures from mainly organic producers. Our professionals are also on hand at the Halles de Dax for our pleasure, and deliver all over France.

Artisan charcuterie-caterers since 1901, Maison Montamat, whose production workshop is in Urrugne, also has a store in Les Halles de Biarritz and, more recently, the Paul et Louis tasting counter. Here you'll find selected dishes to share or take away, made to order on the spot. With hams, terrines, pâtés, foies gras... you're spoilt for choice when it comes to discovering the expertise of this century-old house and our 2 young caterers, who officiate with talent at the counter.
