The superb glass roof of the former Colonna Gallery is a small Art Nouveau jewel built before the 1920s for the Roman bourgeoisie. Completely renovated in 2003, it was named after the famous actor Alberto Sordi who died the same year. The gallery houses major international ready-to-wear brands, the Feltrinelli bookstore and a chic café for a cappuccino break in all-Italian elegance.There are also the clothing stores La Rinascente and Zara. You can have a coffee or a light meal in Trevietritone.

Commercial gallery of the Four Seasons in Giza, The First Mall includes 57 boutiques of internationally known brands. A beautiful part also for young Egyptian designers and craftsmen. Opened in 2011, Demirören is a large shopping center located a stone's throw from Taksim on İstiklal avenue. The building, renovated for the occasion, boasts a deceptively old-fashioned white facade. The mall is home to some fifty boutiques, most of them international, as well as a food court and a cinema on the top floor. The main attraction: a terrace at the very top with a bird's-eye view of frenetic Istiklal Avenue. And spacious, clean toilets. Apart from that, the place isn't really interesting.
