The superb glass roof of the former Colonna Gallery is a small Art Nouveau jewel built before the 1920s for the Roman bourgeoisie. Completely renovated in 2003, it was named after the famous actor Alberto Sordi who died the same year. The gallery houses major international ready-to-wear brands, the Feltrinelli bookstore and a chic café for a cappuccino break in all-Italian elegance. There are also the clothing stores La Rinascente and Zara. You can have a coffee or a light meal in Trevietritone.

I recommend the feltrinelli bookshop on four floors and the marina militare shop, that are worth a visit. It tries to emulate galleria vittorio emanule but it does not quite reach the same level
