Since 1816 and the first performance of The Barber of Seville, Teatro Argentina, inaugurated in 1732, has hosted the greatest plays of the classical dramatic repertoire, as well as more modern adaptations. After the war, the operas moved to the new Navoi Opera House, while the Mukimi kept the musical pieces. Théâtre Carré 30 is a small theater in the heart of Lyon. Since its creation five years ago, it has welcomed Lyon-based and emerging companies, offering a first opportunity for young artists to present their work to the public. The most famous of all belly dancers, Dina, who has published a book in defense of her art, Ma Liberté de danser, performs at this unique venue in Cairo where all lovers of Arabian dances will be delighted. The Makeda is a popular place for a drink and good music right next to La Plaine. A concert hall and dancefloor where all forms of artistic expression find their place. Opened in 2014 by Karim Kayrouz in the heart of the city. He wanted to create a warm and friendly meeting space where everyone finds themselves at home. Created by Sam Harkand & Cie in 2000, this theater is happily developing its specificity: expressionist theater. Inspired by commedia del arte, burlesque and cabaret, this technique opens up new possibilities for the actor. Masks, clowns, jesters and puppets take to the stage in direct dialogue with the audience. The TXR is a popular theatre designed as a place to live.
