GRAND CIRQUE DE SAINT-PÉTERSBOURG

The country's first winter circus, the Ciniselli (so named in honor of the bicentennial of the birth of its founder, the Italian horseman Gaetano Ciniselli) opened its doors to performances in 1877. Home of the world-famous St. Petersburg circus, it is a place where adults become children again and children are invariably amazed.
