Uzbekistan has a long tradition of circus and show business. In Tashkent's gigantic circus, the atmosphere is good-natured and the show justifies its price. The architecture of the building itself is well worth a look. If you're taking children with you, they'll love the show as much as the festive atmosphere in Circus Square before and after the shows. However, the state of the bleachers and seats, the working conditions (very cold in winter)... all this will make your visit a letdown, if you attend a show!
