Welcome to " la tienda " (the store) which, with its hand-picked Spanish specialties, boasts a strong following! The decor combines a contemporary spirit with touches of tradition, for a welcoming shop that makes you want to linger. In fact, a tasting room and a pretty terrace opening onto the Place du Salin are the perfect place to indulge in trans-Pyrenean delights: Bellota ham, Manchego cheeses, sandwiches, tapas, beers... It's even rumoured that the best tortillas in town are served here!

Fancy a good Iberian ham sandwich? Then go to Iberika, a delicatessen renowned for the quality of its cured meats, located in the district of the very popular Victor Hugo market. From the window, the temptation is great. Bocadillos everywhere: crispy baguettes topped with thin slices of that ham you love so much. Coming directly from Spain, the hams rub shoulders with sausages, soubressades, chorizos and other meat delicacies from Castile. A little novelty for your sustenance: hornazo de Salamanca, a salty pie to be damned! These products are sold vacuum-packed to preserve the taste. To be eaten at home, if you can resist until then.

LA ESQUINA

Mediterranean grocery

It is quite naturally in the St-Cyprien district, the district of the Gascony and Spanish refugees in the last century, that this small muy simpatica shop was set up to stock up on Iberian products. Go to La Esquina to find the best bellota or serrano ham, sold whole or cut, manchego cheeses, marinated olives and very fragrant oils. For sweets: almond wafers, chocolates and turrón. A small counter open directly "around the corner" allows you to consume delicious boccadillos prepared on the spot, accompanied by a glass of fruity wine while speaking the language of Cervantes with Romain the boss!
