An urban golf course accessible by bus? Toulouse has done it, with Golf de Garonne, opening in 2019. Here you are just a few minutes from the city center, in a quiet setting on the banks of the Garonne: 17 hectares of a compact course, ideal when you want to play with little time to spare. A regional training center, it is aimed at beginners as well as experienced players, whether able-bodied or disabled. The 20-station driving range, 10 of which are covered, has a depth of 300 meters. There's also a panoramic restaurant with an attractive terrace.

Climbing enthusiasts will have rock (or its synthetic version) to get their hands on here. Escaldes-Engordany is in fact one of the Andorran parishes with the most climbing points, including rock climbing areas and nature spots. The Roc de la Guilla has 33 routes, the Boulder de Coll Jovell 41 routes and the Aiguilles d'Engolasters 17. The Golf de Salies-du-Salat is located a short distance from the centre. It has a nine-hole course approved by the French Golf Federation, a driving range with seven posts extending over a length of 240 metres, as well as a putting green. You can also have a drink or a meal in the club house. If you stay for a longer period of time in the beautiful town of Salies-du-Salat, it is of course possible to take lessons and participate in competitions. A nice course accessible to everyone, in a very beautiful setting.

At an altitude of 1,000 meters, Gèdre is not lacking in resources or activities. One of the most popular is without a doubt the ice rink. Its 495 square meter ice rink is ideal and the wooden roof offers a real mountain atmosphere. Large windows surround you to enjoy the view while skating. Behind the information desk, this site, a favorite of young and old alike, is covered, so you can indulge in the pleasure of skating in summer and winter.

A golf course with beautiful dimensions (6 400 m of course, 18 holes, par 72, which makes it the longest of the region) at 10 minutes of the city center of Montauban... The course, marked out by many water levels, designed by Yves Bureau, a renowned golf architect, includes a section shaded by hundred-year-old oaks, around the Pra de L'Estang manor. All in all, a beautiful wooded area, for this magnificent peri-urban site. In the club-house of the golf, discover also the shop.

The forests of the Black Mountain, the Grésigne and the Sidobre offer majesteueux spaces, where the hunters will be happy and can enjoy their passion in all its forms. In fact, fox hunting, mass game hunting or solo hunting are practiced. You can hunt on small game (hare, quail or woodcock) and big game like wild boar, deer or deer. 

Every year in early June, cyclists gather for the Montée du Géant, an event in the Hautes-Pyrénées that celebrates the ascent of the Le Géant statue to 2,115 m altitude on the Tourmalet. Designed by Jean-Bernard Métais, the statue honors all the cyclists who have tackled this climb in the Tour de France, including Octave Lapize, the first rider to do so in 1910. It's an opportunity to make a unique ascent, which the bravest cyclists do by the strength of their calves.

There are ten signposted walks starting from Rieumes, representing one hundred and twenty kilometres of paths. Seven of them meander through the valley and present no particular difficulty, so they are perfect for family outings, while three others cover the hillsides and require a little more effort, which is quickly rewarded by the panorama. Isabelle and Frédéric Favrot's pony club welcomes children and teenagers, and offers a gîte, all supervised by four qualified teachers. Young riders are welcomed from the age of 4, with a programme of games to music and pony rides with the help of parents. For the older ones, the riding centre also offers initiation, improvement, the passage of the gallops until the competition. It is possible to go for walks and rides.

This 9-hole golf course, hilly and wooded, is located in the middle of nature and open all year round. It can accommodate you for a day, a weekend or a longer stay in charming individual houses. The Proshop has equipment for hire and for sale. Access to the driving range is free and tokens for practice are available at the Club House. A qualified instructor gives lessons throughout the year, by appointment. Access to the pool and tennis court is reserved for members and residents.

Sylvie Delmas organizes relevant and original tours, linking the driving forces of local tourism (craftsmen, restaurateurs, producers, artists, museum curators and health professionals) to the curious of the region, according to the calendar. Saint-Sulpice is embraced by a mosaic of landscapes just waiting to be discovered. It is criss-crossed by numerous signposted footpaths, allowing you to get close to its natural and heritage treasures. Le Petit Futé shares two favorites:

the Pays d'en hauttrail , covering 15 km and passing through Lugan, Azas and Saint-Sulpice

the Plaines de l'Agouttrail : 6 km long, it passes through Saint-Lieux-lès-Lavaur and the Ludolac leisure park

Starting from the lake of Nabeillou, between woods and hills, the path of the Three Lakes offers beautiful views of the region. Lakes and forests, panoramas of crests and multicolored valleys, will make you discover a preserved fauna and flora. A rather impressive nature bath! With a length of 7,5 km, and a duration of approximately 2h30, you will discover on the way an old chapel, Notre-Dame-des-Vignes, and pretty woods. And for the more athletic, there is a fitness trail around the lakes of Miquelou and Nabeillou.

This fun trail was created at the Col de la Bassine, on the road to Brassac, 6 kilometers from Lacaune. At an altitude of nearly 1,000 meters, the 3.5 km itinerary lasts a maximum of 1.5 hours. Its circuit leads to the discovery of a well-preserved nature and of the traditions or legends that have marked its history. To better understand the different elements of this interpretation trail, booklets for adults and children are on sale at the Lacaune tourist information office.

The area around Lacaune boasts over 1,000 hectares of deciduous and coniferous trees, as well as numerous hiking trails and picnic areas. More than half of the Monts de Lacaune's surface area is forested, a perfect illustration of the department's conservation and protection efforts. Most of the forest is made up of hardwoods - dominated by beech - located on the heights and slopes. Perfect for venturing out into the greenery.

Golf d'Albi is one of the most popular golf courses in the Tarn region. Superbly designed by Jean Garaïalde and Jeremy Pern, the 18 varied holes of this 6,157-meter course perfectly combine technique and originality. Surrounded in part by the river Tarn and dotted with a number of ponds, it's a pretty spot of greenery that deserves to be trodden and played. Between two swings, you can enjoy the restaurant, whose terrace offers a breathtaking view of the course. In addition, there's a store to help you with all your equipment needs, whatever your level.

Drivers will be served, because here, with the Desconnecta I Aventura't team, small motorized vehicles are king, like snowmobiles, buggies or even quads. In addition, in winter and summer, you will have a wide choice of other activities such as: guided hiking, orienteering, adventure tours, canyoning, ferratas, climbing, mountain bike tours, bungee jumping, horseback riding and many more. For nature lovers (and sportsmen!).

Located between 1,700 and 2,215 meters above sea level, the Saint-Lary Mountain Bike Park, with its 10 marked trails, is one of the best places for downhill mountain biking in the Pyrenees. Thanks to the Bouleaux chairlift equipped with bike racks, access to the slopes is quick and easy. The trails, suitable for experts and beginners alike, offer a fun and friendly experience. Although the terrain is safe, we strongly recommend that you wear the correct equipment: helmets and gloves are mandatory. Children under 12 must be supervised.

Elisabeth de Corbigny is the "woman who whispers in the ear of horses". She is a whisperer who educates horses of course, but especially riders. If you have the slightest behavioral problem with your horse, or if you wish to discover this method of understanding the animal, she will teach you how to establish a relationship of respect, trust and harmony with your mount. Elisabeth organizes courses of one or more weeks or weekends.

Aline, with her light gait, guides you through the most beautiful Pyrenean landscapes, offering a delightful experience! During the summer, whether it's for a day or a multi-day getaway, she'll take you out with her donkeys, who'll carry your equipment for you. So you can walk with a light heart and nimble feet! In the evening, sit by the fire, listening to Aline's spellbinding tales and dreaming... In winter, don your snowshoes and head out into the snow in search of ermine tracks!

This 4-star greenway was developed by the municipality of Toulouse for 10 km and then by the Department of Haute-Garonne for 43 km following the towpath of the canal. It is the longest and most beautiful in the region, the first section of an itinerary to Sète, in the shade of large plane trees. Here passes the splendid Véloroute du canal des Deux Mers. Along the way, you can admire the canal's engineering structures, locks and others, and the villages of the Lauragais.

To enable fishing enthusiasts to enjoy their hobby in the best possible conditions and keep fish populations healthy, the Federation works to protect aquatic environments, manage fish stocks and promote recreational fishing. The Bernicaze farm offers to discover the region on horseback. All the horses are born and raised at the farm and are particularly well adapted to the terrain. Adeline accompanies these 2 or 3 hour outings where panoramic views and forest trails will enchant you. Day trips or hikes of several days, in the heart of the Pyrenees (Gavarnie, National Park...), are also possible. Courses are organized for children from 8 years old.

The great quality of this golf course, flat with a view of the Pyrenees, is that it allows everyone to express themselves according to their handicap. Planted with 4,500 trees, the site is exceptional for its natural beauty which reveals the Pic du Midi on a clear day. A traditional golf course located in a natural wooded area, this course spreads out the 5 900 meters of its 18 holes over 40 hectares. The driving range is open to all and a state-qualified instructor provides training for beginners. After a full round, golfers meet at the Pré Vert for a hearty meal.

All year round, Bruno offers a variety of hikes and snowshoe hikes, as well as outdoor activities. In his preferred terrain, explore the Pyrenees. Les Haras des Lacs is an equestrian center with riding arenas, a riding school and a jumping ground for regular practice. Horseback riding is a great way to enjoy the Revel region, which is so conducive to relaxing in the open air. That's why Le Futé invites you to offer your children a thirty-minute discovery ride on a pony on a beautiful marked circuit. Guided rides of one to two hours are also available for older children. An immersion in the nature of the St-Ferréol lake area that will seduce the whole family.

Do you want to let off steam, to surpass yourself in an ultra-secure environment? Urban Corp, a newcomer to the sports scene, will interest you. The concept is still unheard of in Europe: a hall totally dedicated to the practice of obstacle sports. Discover parkour, free-running, urban climbing or even the ninja course, supervised by experienced coaches, very high level athletes. The place is as much adapted to the practitioners who wish a training ground, as to the beginners, children included. It is unique in France, and it is in Toulouse!

This 5.5 km urban trail allows you to discover different aspects of the town of Gaillac. From Saint-Michel Abbey, it descends towards the river to follow the banks of the Tarn. The city seems far away! The Hortalisse district, with its maze of paths leading from garden to garden, tells the story of the market gardeners who, until the ^mid-20th century, supplied the surrounding markets. The walk ends at the river Tarn and the prosperous old port.

For accomplished sportsmen or lovers of new thrills, the park is located in the heart of the Aveyron gorges below the Bône cirque, on the river bank, along hiking trails and climbing routes. More than seventy workshops to discover on the six courses adapted to all levels of difficulty, and including zip lines, free fall and tree climbing. This exceptional setting is environmentally friendly, as Parc Aventure has signed the Natura 2000 charter. For all ages and levels, but just for fun.

Solomiac offers beautiful hikes in its surroundings, with notably the Pigeonniers trail or the Gimone trail. The 17 different routes allow you to enjoy the beauty of the Gers countryside and its bucolic panoramas. Hiking maps can be obtained from the Mauvezin Tourist Office or from the Solomiac town hall, which has financed a wonderful educational booklet allowing children to discover the banks of the Gimone.

Discovery trail of the Gimone. This trail is 1.7 km to 3 km long and is ideal to walk with children. Designed by the association Arbre et Paysage 32, it was financed by the Community of Communes. An educational booklet accompanies the trail and allows the youngest to become familiar with nature. Explanations, games, anecdotes allow to approach different themes: water, soil, fauna, flora, biotope, ecosystem and sustainable development. The games were created by students from the schools of Solomiac and Sarrant. The booklet, free of charge, can be picked up at the town hall of Solomiac or in the Tourist Offices. The map of the path can be downloaded from the commune's website.

Randonnée des Pigeonniers. This 14 km loop is for adults or cyclists. It crosses the countryside surrounding Solomiac and will lead you to the discovery of the pigeon houses, emblematic of the culture of the South-West. You can also see windmills and enjoy a superb panorama. The circuit is described in detail on the commune's website.

Specialist in bike rental, Le Petit Cyclo offers VTC, tandems, electric bikes, trailers... as well as all accessories: locks, helmets, panniers and repair kits. For a one-hour ride or a week-long itinerary, all the good advice and itineraries to follow are waiting for you here. Bright Idea: the one-way ticket. You pick up your bike in Toulouse, then drop it off in Sète, Agde or Narbonne - or in Agen or Bordeaux for a discovery of the Canal des Deux-Mers - the house takes care of it.

The terraces of the Frontonnais are perfect for walks in the sun. Ten signposted itineraries of between 1.5 and 3.5 hours take you through the vineyards. Don't miss the Vitirando , starting in Vacquiers, which takes you on an olfactory tour thanks to the special terminals! Out and about with children? Set in a magnificent national forest just 5 km from Auch, this leisure park invites you to experience adventure right in the heart of nature. With family or friends, test your balance on the accrobranche (tree climbing) courses with 5 levels of difficulty, feel the adrenaline rush as you hurtle down the giant zip line, enjoy a fun paintball session, a ride on an all-terrain electric scooter or the Corde Game experience. A playful and sporting area much appreciated by the inhabitants. On the edge of the Samatan lake, this new leisure spot opened in 2020 and immediately attracted slide and balance lovers. Young and old alike come to let off steam along an asphalt ribbon designed in a loop and equipped with hollows and bumps, overhangs and raised turns like a skate park. Fun and safety in mind! This pumptrack welcomes you on mountain bikes or BMX, skateboards, rollerblades or scooters. Some slots are reserved for school children, who have priority

This equestrian center is located on a 7-hectare estate not far from the Manciet campsite. It offers a range of riding options for the general public. Horse-riding enthusiasts can come and take lessons on the estate and take part in tailor-made courses organized according to their desires: archery, dismounted work, free-riding work, dressage, cross-country, boarding courses. Four boarding options are also available. Equivolt also specializes in events and shows, catering for both private and public events.

Fun, playful, immersive, rustic but accessible - these are the key words of the Challen-Gers Bootcamp! As a renowned nature destination, the Gers is ideal for exploring the region by bike. For cycling enthusiasts, the Grand Tour de l'Astarac is a new cycling itinerary, starting in Auch. The route is 154 km long. It is signposted in both directions, on small, shared roads with little traffic, between hills and valleys. Over 2 to 5 days, you'll discover this little-known region, with its remarkable natural and historical heritage, which is a candidate for the Parc Naturel Régional label. You'll discover small villages marked by a profoundly rural identity and landscapes with an exceptional mosaic of colors. If you're short of time or just fancy a short stroll, you can select just a small portion of the route. Whether you're on your own, with your family or with friends, get on your electrically-assisted bike (or your road bike for the more sporty); this tour is suitable for families and experienced cyclists alike. In May 2024, the Pays d'Auch inaugurated this cyclo-tourist circuit by organizing 6 "Cinécyclo" evenings, a unique concept combining bicycle touring, cultural action and environmental awareness through open-air cinema screenings... all powered by the strength of your calves.
Futé : Arriving in the Gers by train, with your bike? The Grand Tour de l'Astarac route is easily accessible from Auch station.

This cycle route stretches for almost 160 km along the River Baïse. It starts in Lot-et-Garonne, crosses the Gers via Condom, Valence-sur-Baïse and Mirande, before ending in the Hautes-Pyrénées. The Condom - Saint-Jean-Poutge section is 38 km long, the Saint-Jean-Poutge - Mirande section 25.9 km. It's a great ride for cyclists, who can take advantage of numerous stops to discover local heritage, landscapes and producers.
