Every Saturday, Victor and Netty organize a market and open the doors of their farm, which also houses a cattle ranch, on request. It's an opportunity to learn how to eat healthily during your stay, with fresh, seasonal produce from healthy, responsibly grown agriculture. A good place to discover quality local fruit and vegetables (madeira, malanga, sugar cane, yams, sweet potatoes, papayas, giraumons, avocados, cucumbers...). The farm also offers overnight camping.

It's one of the most authentic and lively markets on the island (especially on Saturday mornings, when the number of vendors rises from ten on weekdays to around thirty!) You'll come across both Salé and Ilé locals, who enjoy meeting up and sharing in this colorful crossroads of exchange. Amid the scent of flowers and black pudding, the colorful stalls sell all sorts of local produce: fruit, vegetables, spices, freshly caught fish, meat, as well as cassava flour and coconut water. There's also a small selection of local handicrafts.
