Watching the sunset at Rick's is a classic in Negril... The bar-restaurant offers a spectacular setting on the cliffs of West End, facing the sunset with a DJ playing good reggae dancehall almost every night or a concert, more rarely. The influx of tourists disembarking by minibus is a bit oppressive but once you've found your place, you can opt for the delicious and copious grilled lobster and even try jumping from the top of an 11-meter diving board on the cliff, for the big thrill on good sound.

One of the oldest houses in Trinidad, where architectural elements from the 18th, 19th and 20th centuries are mixed. You can dance while sipping the canchánchara (3 €), a local drink made of lemon juice, honey and aguardiente (strong rum). The Mambis, the independence fighters of the 19th century, drew their courage from this beverage during the war against the Spanish troops. Delicious but treacherous. So an advice, avoid the abuse... One of the trendiest bars in the Marina du Gosier - Pointe-à-Pitre. The Spanish ambience and the tapas on offer invite you to extend your aperitif, or even stay for a snack. You will meet people who are passionate about sailing in the West Indies. As for the restaurant, the specialty of the house, contrary to what its name suggests, is not breadfruit but grilled lobster! A treat that has to be earned: only 30 seats here, so remember to book, especially since the place is crowded at sunset.

For those who stay on the island during the weekend, there are Footy parties in the evening! Come and tropicalize yourself on the notes of the Caribbean! Mazurka, biguine, salsa... It's also a Creole cuisine restaurant with a limited menu, which guarantees the freshness of the products offered. On the menu, a good local cuisine with generous portions (accras, cod chiquetaille, colombo, fish court-bouillon, fried fish...). The service takes place in the dining room or on the terrace overlooking the sea. The place is very lively during the busy season.

One of Guadeloupe's most popular nightclubs, notably for its light shows and top-quality music. It has a VIP corner and a bar on the first floor. Theme evenings are organized throughout the year. On-site, the Le Mandiana restaurant offers a dinner/disco formula that appeals to a festive clientele. Nights here are long and lively, with clubbers from all horizons, from Pointe-à-Pitre to the surrounding villages. Take care on the return journey along this very rural stretch of road.

With its ethnic chic ambience, the Kinky Mango is one of the best-selling nightclubs in the world. Guest DJs include Caribbean, house and Afro beat artists. The establishment houses two rooms with two distinct ambiances: an outdoor terrace for cocktails and tapas, and an enclosed room where you can sway to the DJ. The program includes cocktails and sushi on Wednesdays, African flavor or bohemian chic afterwork on Thursdays and tropical vibes on Fridays. An ideal place to go out!

Enjoy a game of bowling in a cheerful atmosphere: six lanes are at your disposal to perfect your strike; a space is reserved for billiard tables for amateurs or professionals (billed according to the time spent playing); arcade games, video games accessible to all ages; billiards billed according to the time spent playing; table soccer tables and a bar on site. This restaurant and dance hall is enormously popular with the population living around Petit-Canal and in the north of Grande-Terre. It's the ideal place to have fun. Themed evenings are organized on a regular basis. The menu doesn't vary much: starters, main courses (grilled fish, stew, rib steak, flank steak, lobster...) and side dishes (rice, vegetables or gratins), plus dessert. This Puerto Plata bar, well known to expatriates, moved to Costambar a few years ago. While there are several cinemas in the capital, the Palacio del Cine has the advantage of being located in the heart of the famous Blue Mall, Santo Domingo's huge shopping mall. Admittedly, the selection of films on offer is fairly uniform and largely North American, but the atmosphere is rather pleasant. It's also a good way to live a little like a local while you're in the capital. If you're feeling more energetic, you can continue the night at the Blue Mall's exclusive discotheque.

This is the most sophisticated club in the area. Local atmosphere and latino sounds played until the early morning! Here the party is in full swing all night long and the meetings with locals and tourists are pleasant. However, make an effort to dress up, because in the Dominican Republic the appearance counts in nightclubs (especially to be able to enter!). Do not come in shorts and flip-flops, you will be refused for sure. Euphoria also serves delicious cocktails (with or without alcohol) and cold beers. Have a nice evening!

This casino is open almost all hours of the day and night! It was the setting for the film Havana, starring Robert Redford. Of course, you'll be asked for your ID card to get in. Slots, roulette, Black Jack... all the casino classics are on offer here. Drinks are also served. Proper attire is required. As with all gambling, please play in moderation! The place is also recommended for merengue dancing on weekends!

An excellent address for espresso lovers. The service starts in the morning with breakfast and continues throughout the day until late at night. Simple but varied restaurant service. You can have a drink on the terrace at any time or laze around on a sofa inside.Happy Hour is every day from 5pm to 8pm, and until midnight on Mondays. The quality of the service is not always up to scratch, however. On weekends, a DJ comes to mix electronic music.

Located on Máximo Gómez Avenue, the Dominican National Theater is the melting pot of the country's living arts. The building, whose construction was decided by President Joaquín Balaguer in 1970 (it was the architect Teófilo Carbonel who took charge and inaugurated the site three years later), is imposing. Although the majority of the performances offered are local, all the performing arts are represented: dance, music, theater and opera. Ask for the program!

The speakers of the Altos de Chavón discotheque alternate between merengue and international rock, with a predilection for the latter, given the clientele mainly from the neighbouring complex. The place is nice, but the atmosphere is a bit conventional. One has much more fun in the local discotheques of the downtown area of La Romana. During the week, the club is also a restaurant: various Dominican tapas, hamburgers and baguette sandwiches, Mexican preparations, pasta plates and grilled meats.

This open-air restaurant-bar-bar, with its warm, fashionable decor, is home to all the hip Europeans who work at the local resorts. You'll enjoy well-crafted Italian cuisine (for once, pizzas are not on the menu), with lobster spaghetti as the star attraction. But beware, the activities start late. Merengue is less in the spotlight than international music, but free Cuba is still the order of the day. Several international DJs come to perform and set the place on fire!

Coolmado is simply the coolest of all colmados: this trendy venue has chosen to take the concept of colmados - traditional grocery stores serving as bars and social venues that you'll find all over the country - and put its own twist on it. The coolmado follows the model, with its relaxed bar atmosphere, but also organizes events and musical evenings that attract a clientele in search of a good atmosphere, meeting people and having fun. We can therefore only recommend that you spend an evening or early evening there during your trip.

It is indeed the advantage of the place: it has two grounds of balls... And it plays! A place that you will appreciate for its simplicity and where you will have the opportunity to meet people! Petanque lovers (or not), you are welcome, from noon to midnight!

As a research center for the creation and dissemination of theatrical works, the Théâtre du Flamboyant offers workshops (thematic, intensive sessions and masterclasses) for children, teenagers, adults, and seniors led by professional actors… Clown classes, storytelling, comedy, playwriting, gesture theater, directing… A good way to develop creativity and self-confidence through oral expression. Oriented towards young audiences, the theater can also be rented and offers shows from 5 years old.

The grounds and facilities of this site are primarily intended for horse racing. Other outdoor activities such as horseback riding lessons and horse shows are organized there. Each year, about 15 meetings are held on Sunday afternoons, with 5 or 6 races of 10 to 12 participants. The Grand Prix de la Caraïbe, the highlight of the equestrian season, which attracts jockeys from metropolitan France and the West Indies, is very competitive.

This leisure complex offers a restaurant and bar, as well as traditional and electronic gaming areas, slot machines, American roulette, blackjack and stud poker. This year, the Casino is focusing on its night-time ambience: at 10pm, a "fashion show" every other Saturday; from 7pm every Friday and Saturday, a concert and musical entertainment, while from 10pm DJ Alone takes to the stage and the turntables to offer you the best RnB, soul and Caribbean music sets. A word of advice: make sure you bring a jacket, as the air-conditioning is often on full blast!

Inaugurated in 1998, Tropiques Atrium is based on a multidisciplinary program open to the Caribbean, Europe, and the world. This EPCC (Public Establishment for Cultural Cooperation) hosts shows, exhibitions, festivals but also animations or congresses. Equipped with two multi-purpose halls and numerous dedicated spaces, it was born from the merging of the CMAC and the Atrium and benefits from the Scène nationale label of the Ministry of Culture. The structure programs about 160 very diverse performances per season.
