Castets et Castillon is a commune located 40 km southeast of Bordeaux, in the Sud-Gironde region. It was created by the merger of the communes of Castets-en-Dorthe and Castillon de Castets in 2017. The commune offers many points of interest to discover, including the Château du Hamel (Château Clémentin), the Eiffel-style bridge, the marina and the Canal de Garonne with its towpaths converted into a cycle path. The Soulac-sur-Mer waterfront needed to adapt to the evolution of the seaside resort.
