Aeroclubs Aquitaine

The Aéroclub d'Aire-sur-l'Adour offers sightseeing flights and flying courses. Glider, microlight or plane (1 to 3 people), how would you like to get into the air? The 30-minute flights give you a chance to fly over the Tursan region around Aire-sur-Adour. We'd be tempted by a discovery flight in a two-seater glider to enjoy the silence. Shared" flights are more à la carte. Always a good idea for a gift!

Following the demise of the big Latécoère seaplanes that were the pride of the Mermoz, Guillaumet and other generations, floatplanes eventually deserted our lakes, rivers and seashores, followed by hydrobases and other hydrosurfaces. That's why only the Biscarrosse hydrobase can still claim this title today, even though it's open to general air traffic. Baptism, flight over the dunes, the Basin... Enjoy yourself while supporting our team of passionate volunteers.

Soulac-sur-Mer is home to the Soulac-La Runde airfield, a civilian airfield open to the public. The airfield is mainly used for leisure and tourism activities. It is managed by the Soulac-sur-Mer town council. The airfield has a fleet of aircraft including models such as the Diamond Star DA 40 TDI 135 CV, the Robin DR400-150CV and the Cessna F 172 M. These aircraft are used for introductory flights, first flights and trips. Visitors can enjoy a 30-minute flight to discover Soulac-sur-Mer, Le Verdon, the Gironde estuary and the Cordouan lighthouse. You can also take part in intensive flying courses to obtain your "brevet d'initiation aéronautique". The airfield also offers boxes for vacation equipment.

Aéroclub Montalivet is a flying club located in Vendays-Montalivet. It offers flights for licensed pilots, as well as training courses for those wishing to obtain their pilot's license. The flying club has a 160hp DR 400 aircraft at its disposal for flights. The club's president is Robert Bahougne, who can be contacted on 06 75 86 33 16.
