Traditional Basque cutlery comes to life in the workshop-boutique of Christophe and Séverine Lauduique. Compagnon de Thiers, this true cutler brings forgotten models back to life. Christophe forges and hammers steel and damascus. Passionate craftsmen, they work the old-fashioned way with wood and horn, respecting ancestral gestures with a real cutlery ethic. A shop animated by an artist, Olivier Roussel-Maserati; art craftsman, who offers to the eyes, two facets of his work; on the one hand the fancy jewel worked from noble materials and stones - coral, mother-of-pearl, precious wood... - that he searches for in South America, Himalayas, Asia... with a vision towards the ethnic groups of the whole world, and on the other hand, extraordinary sculptures in patinated bronze, alongside masterpieces made from culinary, medical material, etc. Push the door of this bright and inspired exhibition studio.

This house has an exceptional ancestral know-how, 4 generations have succeeded each other at its head since 1910! The Tissage Lartigue 1910 brand was created, according to Philippe Lartigue, "in total respect with tradition and in accordance with our time and its ecological concerns". To do this, Lartigue products are "raw from the loom" without any chemical treatment of the fabric. Here, the history of Basque linen is told, from tradition to the secrets of the seven stripes. The workshop is open to visitors for a discovery of the looms and seamstresses in action, a small bathroom corner and the collection that goes with it, a kitchen corner with a staging ... Manufacturing its pieces on site and benefiting from a unique craft know-how, the brand is unavoidable and largely exceeds the borders of the Southwest and France. The last weaver faithful to the Basque tradition, Lartigue 1910 offers a factory outlet dedicated to tableware and kitchenware, superb tablecloths and napkins, bags, cushions, kits for a surprisingly high quality decoration and fabric by the meter. A great success with now 6 stores : Ascain, Bidos, Bayonne, Biarritz, Espelette and Saint-Jean-de-Luz, and the obtaining in 2020 of the GI Label " Linge Basque " attributed to the companies which have a particular know-how and guaranteeing the origin of the linen produced in its workshops.

Mojgan, a glass artist, opens her workshop-boutique to visitors interested in creating original, customizable stained-glass works. In the heart of old Bayonne, in an area dedicated to artisan workshops and boutiques, come and discover the exceptional work of our creator, originally from Teheran, who was inspired by her cultural environment without forgetting the refined and poetic nature of her native Persian culture. She offers introductory courses for all ages (from 8 upwards) in the techniques explored by the artist.

Christian Boncour is not only passionate about the blues - he is the director of the Blues Station in Tournon - but he also handles wicker with dexterity and opens his basketry workshop to you, a place of exhibition, sale, training and education. At his place, you can follow a one-week initiation course or a discovery day during which you make a basket and leave with it, and even a professional training.

Marie-Christine has been a painter for twelve years since she chose to make her hobby a craft. For more than 25 years, Michel Labardin and Catherine Dubon have shared their arts and crafts workshop where they restore and create marvels of glass and color, living paintings, classical or contemporary, which metamorphose in the light of day. An exciting activity that has been rewarded with the departmental and regional prize for craftsmanship for their superb mandala "Hanging Garden". They make custom stained glass and glass creations. And he's the last manufacturer of chisteras in France.
