Twenty years ago, the Rio Grande Association invested this former Art and trial cinema in the Villebourbon district, near the train station. The cinema has become a showroom, with up to 800 spectators. It is the preferred place of dissemination of the so-called current music on the department, with both eclectic and coherent programming. When this theatre was created in 1964, its mission was to host the Centre Dramatique National du Sud-Ouest. Quickly taken over by the Toulouse City Hall, it has known many adventures for several decades. Its programming is intended to be multidisciplinary, combining the great classics of the repertoire revisited and contemporary writings.
