The House of the Hermitage is the great reliquary of Marcellin Champagnat. The Marist Brothers today have about 3,000 members working with young people in 80 countries around the world. The municipality of Saint Marcel-de-Feline is well known for its rich heritage, situated at the foothills of the Morning and Beaujolais Mountains. It kept the character of a village of yesteryear. See the oratory dedicated to the Virgin on the road of Néronde. It was the Laffay family that built it in recognition following an event in Lourdes during one of their pilgrimages.
