In the heart of the city, on the main square, the Maison des Huiles d'Olive et Olives de France offers a unique exhibition on this thousand-year-old tree, bearer of so many symbols: the olive tree. Take part in rare moments that should not be missed such as olive oil tastings or workshops (cooking, creative, conferences ...) that allow a better understanding of the rich and special world of the olive tree. A museum featuring mixed collections with a common denominator the painter André Auclair - 1893-1976. It is therefore not surprising to discover in this beautiful mansion the 20 s a whole room devoted to high-level sport with the presentation of sporting objects of the time. But here we also come here to admire the approximately 300 works, which were presented alternately, bequeathed by a painter inspired by the artistic movements of a time when surrealism was born. But what dominates is the inflows influences? Art Deco across all disciplines - and the word is welcome to talk about sport! - by André Auclair: drawing, painting, engraving, ceramics, tapestry… We will discover a small museum of lime devoted to local history and on the last floor a sports museum that evokes through photos and material the great events of our century. In the autumn, a very eagerly awaited lounge presents works by contemporary artists.

This exhibition area of the Saint Martin district, housed in the former rehabilitated barracks, welcomes from 8 May to 31 October 2017 the collective exhibition Pop art, see more…, fruit of collaboration between the Château des Adhémar and the Saint Martin museum, presents the major figures of Pop art, popular current born in the 50 s in the United States and England. At their side are exhibited works by contemporary artists, heirs of this emblematic movement of art history. Embodied by the famous American Andy Warhol, designed to make art accessible to the greatest number by dealing with topical subjects, Pop art has marked the decline of conceptual or minimalist art. It remains the movement-reflection of the capitalist window and has, technically and aesthetically, never finished.

The Orchestre des Pays de Savoie is one of the few permanent orchestras in the region. With programming around chamber music, jazz, opera, classical or contemporary music, training takes part in many events: world creations, discs, performances in Savoie or other regions or abroad. This ensemble also works in the diffusion of music in schools, University of Savoie, prisons, hospitals…

Actions Mongolie is a Lyon-based association dedicated to humanitarian actions in Mongolia. Their website provides information on their projects, past and future missions, as well as detailed mission reports. The association is also working on medical training and equipment projects in various fields, such as ophthalmology, laparoscopic surgery and emergency medicine.
