One of the park's emblematic hikes, called the "Chemin des Crêtes", starts in Aillon-le-Jeune. It's a 14 km loop, offering around 4 hours' walking with a 600 m vertical drop. You can't leave Annecy without climbing Mont Veyrier! It's one of the most popular mountains with locals and tourists alike, for its superb views of the lake, surrounding mountains and town.
