Set off from the forest house for a short hike. The Bois de Ballon trail owes its name to the first successful balloon crossing of the English Channel by aeronaut Jean-Piette Blanchard in 1785. He set off from Dover and landed on the edge of the Guînes state forest; the Blanchard column commemorates this event. Along the way, you'll find an adventure course with monkey bridges, giant swings and a 120-metre zip line!

Accessible to all, the sentier de la Colonne is a hike that plunges you into the Denacre valley, which is full of beautiful 19th century mansions and manor houses built of Baincthun stone. Farms, ponds and waterfalls also decorate this 8 km long trail. Don't miss the famous column of the Grande Armée, a 53-metre-high marble monument erected to the glory of Napoleon. It immortalizes the camp of Boulogne where 18,000 men were assembled by the emperor to prepare the invasion of England.

Mount Pelé, culminating at an altitude of 200 meters, and its neighbor Mount Hulin, dominate the commune of Desvres and the entire Boulonnais bocage. Starting from the parking lot of the Maison de la Céramique, the walk takes the hikers in a humid and shaded environment made of trees and shrubs as well as numerous streams. Once exploited for its chalk by the Société des Ciments de France, it is now returned to nature. Count 1h30 of hiking (3 km). There is an extension of the trail towards the town of Menneville to go to the Hulin mount (4,5 km).

The 27 ^th International Kites Meeting will undoubtedly be one of the flagship events on the Opal Coast in 2013. This year's theme will be "20 000 links in the air". So free to cerfs of imagination and invention to offer the audience new dreamlike creatures. The sky will cover all of the same colourful sails as the rest of the world, for an air and sea tour in 9 days. Shells, marine animals, crustaceans, turtles and giant octopus reinventing the sky as a giant aquarium.

On this occasion, several booths and numerous animations will be offered. Among other things, the Wind Garden, the Manufacturing Workshop, the School of Pilotage, the Wind School or the Children's Village. Don't miss this fantastic and singular rendezvous.

You can choose between eleven fun and sporty outdoor courses that will satisfy the whole family. Thrill seekers will be delighted with the courses including twenty-metre jumps and flying snowboards. Opalaventure also teaches respect for nature: everything is designed to avoid damaging the coast's ecosystem. Adrenaline rushes guaranteed in a wild environment.

The Longe-côte exists since 2005. Thomas Wallyn, a trainer at a rowing club in Dunkirk, is the inventor. Initially confidential, the discipline is more widely distributed by the association Opale Longe-côte. But what is it? It's a walking and water sport. The sportsman evolves upright in the water, immersed up to the waist. The efforts made are therefore substantial. The club also offers the practice of canoeing and kayaking in the river, as well as kayaking at sea. It is also possible, with an instructor, to learn to paddle.

The Centre Nautique de la Baie de Canche is a sailing club that also offers long-distance sailing and water-walking. The club's address is 32 allée des argousiers.

The Fencing Circle of Hénin-Beaumont (C.E.H.B) has a national and even international reputation! Indeed, this club has seen many champions from France and Olympic champions in particular jubilation! But here we also teach the sword and sword. For 7 years we can come to try this combat sport that combines physical abilities: flexibility, flexibility, speed and intellectual capabilities: self-control and respect for the other. Did you know? The nautical base offers the initiation and the practice of water sports. The Racing Club Arras brings together some sports sections, each of which, according to discipline, has its own clubs, sites and contact details: athletics, basketball, football, rhythmic gymnastics, artistic gymnastics and sport, hand-ball, lawn hockey, judo, karate, sports swimming, bowls, diving, street hockey, adaptés, tennis, archery, volleyball and water polo.

The Ben-year-Cirq association is the École des arts du cirque d'Arras and the headquarters of the contemporary Circassian company. Affiliated to the French Federation of Circus Schools, it offers workshops and internships during school holidays and in July. Baby circus for younger people to the hopes of the trail for the larger, passing through mini circus, young shoots and young artists, the teaching is aimed at 4-18 years. Learning reflects the different facets of circus arts, trapeze juggling, unicycle au, foulard au… The courses take place under the thumb of Emile-Zola Street during the fine days, and in the gymnasium of Voltaire's School when the winter is raging. The Sentier de Randonnée La Folie de la Comté offers an 8 km, 2-hour forest walk along the Upper Lawe Valley. Following the river's flow, you'll discover the natural charms of this region, including the waterfall of the mill, the Beugin lake and the crossing of the Epenin wood along the banks. The Les Châteaux et Cressonnières hiking trail offers a wide variety of discoveries and landscapes. With a length of 28 km and an estimated duration of 5h30, it allows you to admire the discreet châteaux nestling in the Lacquette valley, as well as the artesian wells used to grow watercress. From Witternesse to Blessy, this great circuit is available in several variants (11, 12 and 17 km) to suit all levels. This trail is a great way to enjoy the charm of this region while getting in some physical exercise.

The Sentier de Randonnée des Marais is a 12 km, 3-hour trail through the heart of the Bellenville marshes. This vast wetland is home to remarkable flora and fauna, veritable jewels to be preserved. Follow the winding paths through this sensitive area and stop off at the observatory to contemplate the wealth of local biodiversity. This tour will introduce you to the wild beauty of this ecologically significant marshland. As well as exploring the mining region and its natural wonders, you'll enjoy a complete change of scenery.

The Sentier de Randonnée La Lawe (Lawe hiking trail) takes you on a journey of discovery through the region's bucolic countryside. Starting from the church parking lot, follow the banks of the Lawe for 15 km and discover an unsuspected architectural and natural heritage. Following the river's peaceful banks, you'll be immersed in lush green landscapes, dotted with typical Flemish farms and remnants of the Great War. During a 4-hour loop, ideal for walkers and nature lovers, you'll enjoy a complete change of scenery just a stone's throw from the city.

The Sentier de Randonnée La Table aux Fées is the ideal trail for hikers seeking adrenalin and thrills in a setting combining nature and mystery. Over a distance of 11 km, this 2h45 hike plunges you into a woodland setting reputed to be supernatural. Its evocative name refers to a fascinating local legend, that of the "white damsels" who are said to celebrate ancient rites around a dolmen at certain times of the year. Their mystical dance is said to add a touch of enchantment to this captivating stroll, drawing passers-by under the dolmen's spell.

The Sentier de Randonnée Les Gorges Bleues invites you to a bucolic 8.5 km (2h) walk on the Lys plain. Starting at GEOTOPIA, this trail allows you to admire the marvellous bird with the azure-blue bib. Discover the lively banks of the canal d'Aire à la Bassée and taste typical local produce such as Lingot du Nord, garlic, shallots and leeks, all of which reveal the charms of this clay-loam plain. This soothing hike is ideal for nature lovers and gourmet connoisseurs alike.

Now installed in its own space since September 2011, Artistik Studio, facilitated by Amélie Dufrénois, offers classical, contemporary dance courses to all audiences, children (from 4 years old) to adults. 

20 km of beach are spread out for your pleasure. Water sports enthusiasts will be in paradise at the Club Nautique de Merlimont, which has been awarded the French sailing and sand yacht school label. Boating, fishing, sand yachting, jet-skiing, kayaking, stand-up paddle... They also offer boat and jet-ski descents. Training courses in sand yachting and other water sports are organized throughout the year. With speed peaks of up to 60 km/h: guaranteed thrills!

The Union Sportive Arras Ouest is an association which offers nearly 30 different sports activities: what to find the sport you love or that will suit you! Do not hesitate to contact them for the schedules and rates of different disciplines. Non-exhaustive List of sports: aikido, kendo, iaido, gym, basketball, touring, musculation, bowls, as well as adapted gymnastics, walking, awakening gymnastics, and various dances (oriental, Latin, modern jazz, zumba, etc.). Since 2009, the USAO also organizes "sports Wednesdays", in the morning from 10 h 30 to 12 h for children between 9 and 6 years of age, and the afternoon from to for adolescents between the ages of 10 and 14.

Sail through the water thanks to this sport activity that is both peaceful and dynamic. This is an opportunity to discover this outstanding sport and to visit Montreuil as you have never seen them. Whether it's a discovery in calm water or slaloms in deep water, Montreuil's canoe club offers you to surf the Canche. Whether you are an expert or a beginner, it is always a real pleasure to practice this summer activity. For an initiation, a small walk, half-day or even a day, you can discover the canoeing at your pace.

Need ideas for decorating your table or preparing your reception? Behind the lovely shop of their shop shop, the creative and dynamic Marie-Laure and Flavienne fly to your rescue and make for you (and with you, if you wish), the menus, the invitations, the towel round, the table plan and other festive elements. They also offer workshops for adults, teens and children, dedicated to recreational arts where they will show you all the secrets of scrap, even, art of récup ', painting, knitting… Another part of their activity, they organize (for the joy of babies and mothers), artistic anniversary flavours: creation and manufacture of the invitation card with children, and manufacture of objects and tables on site or at home (duration 2 h 30, 15 € per child except inviting it, tasting and equipment provided). Set to allow history and architecture lovers to discover a rich heritage, the Lillers urban trail takes you to the college, the Flemish houses, the Argentier house, the cressonics, the chapel Notre-Dame-de-Mercy, the Relingues castle… and leads you through the crossroads. the Parc du Brûle, the public garden and leisure area of the Fanien family that made the wealth of the city by setting up a thriving footwear industry and with many vestiges.

From the Maison du Romelaëre, set out to discover the Audomarois region! This walk leads you through the marshes and the state forest of Rihoult, which covers nearly 1,200 hectares. Grey herons, wild boars, deer, and nocturnal birds of prey find refuge in this area of water, tall grass and trees. At the end of the forest, take the time to admire the church built in the ^19th century in the commune of Clairmarais and the old Cistercian abbey. Good to know: picnic areas are located along the walk.

Karting is practiced here, both in leisure and competition. The KLL is a FFSA-approved open-air track (1 star) 1 km long and 7 m wide, as well as 22 karts with electronic timing, including two-seater karts, ideal for accompanied children. All accessories are provided: gloves, hoods and helmets. Wetsuits are optional. For your group events, you will be supervised by qualified instructors who will be able to give you advice to help you progress and make the most of your day.

Coming from an old gravel pit, the Sauvagine pond was dug on 11 hectares in the village of the three steeples. The varieties of fish are numerous: carp, pike, tench, roach, eel, bream. Attention: to fish, you will have to provide you with an annual or daily card. It is also possible to walk around the pond, in the calm that characterizes the city. The visitors' parking lot has about 50 marked out spaces, from where it is easy to access the pond by taking small paths lined with flowery fallow land.

This beautiful walk crosses three villages and offers the opportunity to take an interested look at the Christian constructions of the hamlets, between the churches, calvaries and chapels built regularly in the past. Between two stopovers, nature also shows itself at its most beautiful, the green alleys and the banks of the Lys and the Liauwette make the walk very bucolic. In the hamlet of Creques, don't hesitate to make a small detour to admire the old water mill.

Blangy-sur-Ternoise is a charming town in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, located between Arras and the beaches of Berck. In the heart of this region, you'll find the 3-star Le Pré Saint-Gilles campsite. This family-run campsite welcomes you to a vast wooded park with fishing ponds. You can stay in a camper van, tent or caravan on shady pitches, or in a comfortable mobile home with wooden terrace and lawn garden. The campsite has an aquatic area with a heated, covered swimming pool, a bar-brasserie, children's games, sports facilities and family leisure activities. Fishing enthusiasts will be delighted with the trout and whitefish runs. The campsite is open from early April to mid-October. From 9am to 12:30pm and from 2pm to 8:30pm. Blangy-sur-Ternoise is also an ideal starting point for discovering the Pas-de-Calais department and its many activities.

The centre is a complex dedicated to sport, leisure and wellness: sports swimming, swimming "pleasure", or simple moments of leisure with family or friends… It is also a form of cardio training and training platform, as well as all the standards of fitness courses. The Georges Daullé swimming pool and its pyramid roofs are an unusual part of the neighbourhood. It houses two basins and welcomes on Wednesday morning, from 10 a. m. to 11 p. m., the water garden for 3-6 years.

This nautical base is located at the edge of Arras. Kayak, canoe, rafting or paddle? At Riverside Park, you can go from walking to paddling without asking any questions. The white water stadium, located in the city center, was built in the heart of the natural area of the Scarpe Valley. All year round, you can do activities such as archery, mountain biking or orienteering. A new base is under construction, a few hundred meters away for more modernity!

This association organizes numerous events to make it discover the pleasure of a balloon flight: baptism, wedding, birthday… The flight is open to all, from the elderly to pregnant women. The flights are provided by President Robert Hay, a true enthusiast, who has several hundred flights to his assets. Monuments, landscapes, fields, everything takes a quasi-magic dimension.

Located in the hills of Artois, the base of the ultralight air sports is the only one of its kind in northern Paris, offering the opportunity to discover, of being initiated and being trained in the practice of paragliding, the ulm, the model aeroplane making and the paramotor. Baptism, discovery, training session.

Mainly dedicated to football in the room, this centre has 11 land of 4 different sizes allowing you to vary the game combinations: from 2 to 6 against 6. But Footsal is also tennis, volleyball, volleyball, badminton, tchoukball, jorkyball or sandball. We reserve its land and hop, it's gone! And for the children, Footsal organizes sessions year round, internships during school holidays and even birthdays, with a football field cake! The Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental d 'Arras teaches three major disciplines: music, dance and drama to nearly 900 students. The music section proposes the teaching of a large number of instruments: the piano, the rugged strings, the pinched strings, the drunks, the woods, the percussions, the singing classes, etc. as well as the musical training for children, adolescents and adults. Collective practices (choir, chamber music or orchestra) complement education. Registration is possible in 5 years (large maternal section), starting 6 years begins the common initiation course to music and dance. At 7 years, students will choose to learn about an instrument, to learn classical dance or to dance contemporary dance. For the teaching of dramatic art, entrance takes place in initiation from 8 years and from 14 years on a diploma. A strong partnership with national education also makes it possible to integrate classes at the primary school and college classes at Times arranged in Music or Theater (CHAM/CHAT) which combine regular school education and conservatory courses.

The Centre for the Teaching of Modern Music has set itself an important mission: learn music from its participants. The association manages a motivated and expert team in all music fields. Members can learn to play an instrument (keyboard, guitar, battery, flute, song…) both in theory and in practice. The educational section is characterized by a favourable environment with workshops in the music (pop, blues, funk, jazz, pack…) and thus aimed at the creation of numerous formations. But the work does not stop there, since demonstrations are organised all year round, with events for students dreaming of practising: orchestras, public demonstrations, master classes, recordings… brief, ideal for any musician beginning or confirmed. The workshop workshops are a result because they allow group practice according to the level and preferences of each.

Schedule of meetings according to dances. Eric Salingue's dance school and his team of graduate teachers are not only interested in rock but all of the current couple's dances or not, from the slow waltz to tango and salsa. The courses are collective and separated into skill levels. Special courses take place during the hours of availability and a schedule of internships is established in advance… to discover on the site. As for the other types of dance (classical, jazz and contemporary), they are now taught next to Artistik Studio, always facilitated by Amélie Dufrénois.

Salon dances (rock, tango, waltz, salsa…) and chips are at the honor of this dance school for both beginner and confirmed students, during course hours or following special sessions. Courses, dancing evenings and preparations for ceremonies (weddings) are organized. All schedules and rates online on the site!

Over the dusty image of bridge, this association deals with putting bridges at the meetings… We are told that it is the card game and not this dental prosthesis. It seems to us as strange that a club is interested in these small squares of ceramics. So members play cards and expect new members. The championship is part of everyday life.

A Rémy (near Vis-en-Artois), a small village situated between Arras and Cambrai, 25 km from Douai, Bapaume and Cambrai, come discover, in a beautiful green setting, the Sens sources, which guarantee impeccable water. You will find a collective pond of 3000 m 2 and five private trout fishing courses, to be practiced by day or half day, once a month of large trout of 3 kg are dropped. There is a possibility to improvise a picnic between friends or family, barbecues are available and games are open to children. The fully renovated bar will allow you to restore or defend yourself, some products of the sea are also on sale because the exploitation itself carries out reproduction, nursery and magnification. A moment of glory in the event of taking, especially back home and if not an excellent moment to spend the family, any generation confused.

The Olhain Park is a real gold mine for adventurous people eager for sensations. In addition to the hiking trails, try the accrobranche (tree climbing), experience a fall (controlled!) with the tyrolienne (zip line) or take the height with the trampo-jump! For groups looking for challenges and team building, try the Timed Course: it is a mini adventure course built 40 centimeters above the ground, more difficult than it seems.

The Circuit de la Vilaine is a paradise for quads, buggies, motocross and 4x4. Discover the time of a course an all-terrain motorized sport to play size nature and in the open air. Qualified instructors are there to give you advice and guide you in taming your machines. Competitions, contests and freestyle events are also organized for the greatest happiness of the mechanics amateurs. If you are looking for strong sensations and if you are not afraid of getting dirty, because there the mud is an obligatory step!

The Sentier de Randonnée Le Catorive (Catorive hiking trail) takes you on a 2-hour, 8-km tour of Béthune's rich heritage. Beginning on the famous Grand'Place, this urban circuit will take you on a tour of the city's treasures, including the water station, the marina, the public garden and its magnificent bandstand, the Saint-Vaast church and, of course, the majestic belfry. Each site bears witness to the history and architectural diversity of Béthune. By taking part in this walk, you'll fill up on cultural and architectural knowledge and discoveries of the region's heritage.

Béthune Golf Course has two approved courses: two compact 9-hole courses, one with 18 departures. Young beginners can take advantage of the golf school (for 8-14 years). It also organizes competitions.
