Marquette-lez-Lille is a town that offers many possibilities for cycling and cycle tourism enthusiasts. The Comité Départemental Nord Cyclotourisme offers various activities and events throughout the year. On the same day, the Boucles de Gayant Cyclistes will take place at Porte d'Arras, with 2 mountain bike trails, 5 cycle-touring trails and 2 walking trails.

Valenciennes F.C. is a soccer club based in Marly, near Valenciennes. Founded in 1913, the club currently plays in Ligue 2, the second division of French soccer. On the occasion of the 2010 Heritage Days, the city of Roubaix, a city of art and history, brought to the honour its canal by producing a virtual exhibition: The Canal/A Roubaisienne, presented since September 2010 on the digital library of Roubaix, from the collections of the library and municipal archives. The result is an exciting interactive document, on the history but should the topicality of the canal de Roubaix, to look on its screen, with photographs of archives and a very interesting chronology of this canal, its construction, navigation, fishing… You can also download and print a small document that summarizes history. At Colorama, colors are everywhere! Here, it's in the brilliant indoor skatepark initiated by the no less brilliant Condition Publique in Roubaix. Designed by the famous agency Yinka Ilori (colorful shapes are its trademark!), it is a meeting place between sport and street-art, its modules being transformed into support of artworks. Open to all, beginners as well as experts, Colorama is also a place of meetings and mediation where learning sessions and sports and cultural events are organized. A unique place of its kind!

At the boundary of the Regional Natural Park of La Plaine de la Plaine, visit the municipality of Anhiers, where nature réapproprie gradually, a former village of war-ravaged miners between 1914 and 1918. Enjoy the double sides of this hike between dunes and macadam. With wild air along the Parrot dune, where it makes good breathing and admiring the fauna and flora that thrives there. After reaching the calvaire of the missing sailors, let us take a few moments to enjoy a wonderful view to the Naturelle nature reserve, before going down to the city. Typically associated with the seaside, these are half-timbered houses with blue and white shades that one admire on the streets of Bray-Dunes.

We know the carnival and its capitalized streets, but what about all these people disguised? You are offered a walk through the history of the city and the Dunkerquois heroes. On 2.5 or 6 km, browse the pavements where many buildings are erected. The departure goes back to the port museum, from where you will already see the three Duchess Anne. Then the heritage goes: the Leughenaerest Tower, the Saint-Éloi church with the tomb of Jean Bart, famous privateer under Louis XIV triumphant the battle of Texel… We cannot quote everything, then on the way!

In the heart of Flanders, criss-cross the cultural and architectural heritage of Bailleul, starting with Hôtel de Ville as well as a carillon Beffroy. You will cross the Leroy square where you can cross, proudly, the bust of the first woman elected to the French Academy, Marguerite Yourcenar. On a different theme, comtemplez the medieval appearance of the water tower, both keep and the city. An advice: be careful and raise your eyes, as Bailleul abounds in small architectural gems. Watch in particular the façades of the houses!

Located in the heart of the Upper Valley of Oise, the Galopins circuit of the Anor peninsula offers the exquisite sensation of pedaling always on the edge of the water. Ponds, rivers, waterfalls, the vegetation around is abundant. Robbing the Old Glassware Trail between the hedges, penetrating the Hirson private forest, along the Anorelle Creek… The decor changes as you pedal. To everyone its rhythm: the circuit offers three options (9.5 km, 10 km or 14.5 km for the most reckless).

This 10 km tour (about 3 h 20) leads you to discover the site of the Btaille de la Peene (1677 ° at the foot of Mount Kassel. It borrows many small country roads where traffic is not very important.

The departure takes place in the Ela square of Zuytpeene or Noordpeene, the car park of the Battle House.

This is a particularity of the beaches of Dunkerque and of the art of living in Dunkerque. The coastline has 180 beach huts for rent, which are in great demand in summer. They can be booked the rest of the season, at the tourist office of Dunkerque Plage, place du Centenaire, by the week. There are 11 types of them, with different shapes, colors and illustrations. It's not just a shed where you store your parasol, balloons or windbreakers. We meet there to have a drink, admire the sunset... Not to be missed!

This 9 km long circuit, which takes a good two hours to complete, offers you a nice breath of fresh air. From Gravelines, walk along the river Aa via the Chenal dike to the beach of Petit-Fort-Philippe and its lighthouse, which you can visit in the afternoon. Then take the road again to find yourself in the Polder Park. A short tour through the green belt around the walled city and you are back at the starting point.

Gravelines is the third largest marina on the Opal Coast. A former fishing and trading port, it has 450 berths divided into three distinct sites. Firstly, the Bassin Vauban, the largest site, with 220 berths, of which around 40 are reserved for visitors. Then the Quai des Islandais, with 152 moorings lined up on floating pontoons. The third, Anse des Espagnols, close to the Petit-Fort-Philippe lighthouse, has 78 moorings.

The highest climbing gym in the region (18 meters) invites you to get high! At Climb Up Wambrechies, the climbing session takes place independently, with a dynamic team ready to advise you if needed. A different way to visit this part of the region, leaving you beautiful souvenirs and perhaps some aches also!

The Val du Riot leisure park is a polymorphous place. You come here to escape, recharge your batteries, breathe deeply and create a little bubble where you can quench your thirst. Created with both fun and education in mind, you can discover the flora and fauna, play in the playgrounds, at the small funfair, on the inflatable games, ride a pony, and discover the exceptional dovecote. The two ponds are ideal for carp and trout fishing.

The municipal music school in Armentières offers adapted music courses for everyone from the age of 3. The school has around 300 students each year and 22 teachers. From ages 3 to 6, the youngest can take part in the Musical Garden, which will help them open up to music through games, songs and dances. From CE1 onwards, teaching includes Musical Training (solfeggio), Instrumental Training and group practice. Adults can also begin or resume musical training. Musical events are organized throughout the year, including auditions and concerts. The school also runs awareness-raising activities for schoolchildren.

The Topin-Hutteau dance school is located in Le Quesnoy, in the Nord region of France. It offers ballroom dance classes such as rock, waltz, tango and more. Classes are taught by André and Paule Topin, AMDF dance masters and FFSD experts. The school has over 1000 students and is renowned for the quality of its teaching. The association Mer et Rencontres is a sand yacht school affiliated to the French Sailing Federation. La Binouze Biker... A mysteriously hilarious name for a crazy orienteering and puzzle race of around 10 km by bike, in teams of 2 to 5. To put it simply, you pedal your way through the city to different stopping points, where you'll find riddles to solve in order to reach the next one, and so on until you reach your final destination: the bar! Or the restaurant, depending on the more or less serious theme of the race (latest editions: welsh, retirement...). In any case, a wild evening awaits you!

The centre welcomes riders, large and smaller, for the practice of their favourite discipline. Of course, the classes come year round, but the groups have the opportunity to come and enjoy the different equidae on reservation only. In addition to lessons, rural walks remain possible. So why not take a test tour?

Located not far from the city center of Wormhout, the "Etang des tTois sources" is an ideal place to go and fish for gudgeon or trout (in a very regulated environment). This leisure center, located in the grounds of an old farm, also offers a few walking paths and picnic tables to eat, whether alone or with the family. Note that the place is also perfect to learn about astronomy and try to catch a star in the sky!

Starting from the town hall of Wandignies-Hamage, this easy circuit follows small roads and agricultural paths through the typical landscapes of the Scarpe and the limestone plateau of Ostrevent. You will notice the censes, alignments of pollarded willows, the marshes, to which are added witnesses of the mining industry: the power station of Hornaing and the slag heaps as well as a beautiful fauna. In rainy periods, remember to bring waterproof shoes.

This is a very varied circuit! The trail starts in Rieulay and takes you through the surrounding meadows, poplar groves and marshes. Choose the period from April to October to avoid the wettest season. Ponds and pretty woodlands will enliven your hike. Note also the diversity of the hedgerows: willows, hornbeams, oaks, beeches, hazels, alders and wildlife, delighted to enjoy both the wetlands and the trees.

This circuit without difficulty starts from Tilloy-lez-Marchiennes, to discover characteristic environments of the Scarpe: forests, wet meadows and drainage ditches. Remember to bring binoculars to appreciate the diversity of birds. Roe deer, squirrels, owls will also be able to greet you. In spring, you'll smell the strong odor of wild garlic. And don't leave without your binoculars: in addition to the landscapes, you will be able to observe the diversity of bird species!

All the pleasure of sailing on the round basin, a place suitable for windsurfing, canoeing, Optimist... Of course, the whole team manages the training and the animation of the different clubs, as well as the preparation of the boat licence. The groups have not been neglected since formulas adapted to leisure activities allow to spend a day in the open air while taking advantage of the numerous other activities of the base: mountain biking, rollerblading, archery, etc.

After the forest of Mormal, here is its golf! Ideally located in a natural environment where it is good to breathe, the Golf of Mormal proposes many different options, going from the practice to the discovery while passing by training courses of initiation, private lessons or still specific formations to improve your swing! There is also a very pleasant club-house proposing a service of bar and restoration, perfect to (re) settle down after a beautiful sporting day. In short, a valuable address for golf lovers.

Leave Noordpeene in front of the church, then take the road to Zuytpeene. Follow the RD26 and turn off at the cemetery to a farm. Return to Zuytpeene, then follow rue de Mutse, then chemin de Bambrugge. Above a farm, take a country lane, the Abdis Weg, which leads to Watten if you're not careful... But before that, turn off at rue de la Lanterne, then RD209 and then route de Bourbourg, and return to Nordpeene via chemin du Couvent.

See you on the Grand Place Norbert Segard for the start of this tour! On the way by the rue du Tambour to Staek Hower. Bypass Hardifort and pass by the Roman road, then direction Mezeele. From there on, the circuit splits into two: be sure to follow the corresponding one - otherwise 20 km more. Direction Ochtezeele and, after the panorama, we pedal to Zuytpeene... and to Bachincove in the wake. Return to Cassel by the Montagnard and the Rue des Remparts.

The Mont des Récollets circuit entirely surrounds Mont Cassel and Mont des Récollets. Leave Cassel on the D933 down to Bailleul, then take the chemin de la Perche. Go down the Trou du Diable - then follow the Chemin du Temple, turn at the chapel and arrive in the hamlet of Ryveld. Leaving the hamlet, head for Oudezeele via the Flemish streets and, once in the village, follow the allée des Chênes. Continuing along this path, you'll come across Ryveld again, and as you head towards Terdeghem, you'll discover the panorama that is the reason for this walk.

Two levels of difficulty for a circuit that presents the different sources of the mountains. Departure in front of the church of Sainte-Marie-Cappel, then on the road by the village Staete towards the water castle. After a passage in the fields, arrived in the places where the Peene takes its source, then direction the road to Saint-Omer where two choices arise, between the short path and the complete hiking. Follow St. Peter Road and then take the road to Oxelaëre to the point of departure.

For experienced hikers, this long circuit always starts on the square of Kassel and offers a complete walk in the area of the area. Follow the path from the Chapter to the RD 916, then take the rue de l'Etendard to the Kleine de Kleine Straete de Steenvorde. Arrive on the road to Coevet, cross the city to the mill of the Roome and then Terdeghem, village typical to old houses, continue until the manor then direction Sainte-Marie-Cappel. On the way, you can admire the chapels up to the exit of the city, then return to Kassel via the rue du Moulin by crossing the gate of Ypres once arrived.

Once on the Grand-Place de Kassel, departure by road from Dunkirk for a circuit dotted with chapels. Direction, by the battlefield and the Moulin mill, demolished in 1937. Follow the rue de l'Etendard towards Mount des Récollets - and the other mountains, seen in panorama. Return to Kassel by Chemin de la Perche and Notre-Dame collegiate.
