Located inside the Thermal thermal park, Water Watch is a space of scientific culture dedicated to water. The project has been carried out since 2007 by the Association Les Eaux et les Hommes. The site consists of three spaces: a permanent exhibition divided into six modules (the source, the well, the window of the research, the aqueduct and the washing machine), workshops led by a facilitator who performs experiments with children and a cyberthèque, a place to consult with the multimedia resources around water and sustainable development. In summer, temporary exhibitions are hosted and numerous events are organized around La Watch.

Jacques Droux is a multi-field artist who inspired by everything you can observe. At the same time creative plastics technician and photographer of art, his workshop is also the place where he presents his most recent works. Metal sculptures celebrating nature or the war of 1914-18, collection of acrylic paintings, photos composed and various assemblies, lamps and objects… Everyone will be surprised or marvel at its multimedia creations.

Creating a gallery in a village of 500 souls away from the main lanes falls short of the challenge, yet Bare Braguier has been holding this space dedicated to Art since 2010. There is always an ongoing exhibition. Artists in residence come to prepare their next show, others deposit their works to find a buyer. The maîtresse has also put in place several regular appointments, including children's educational workshops and Tuesdays of knowledge, meetings around a glass and a theme for knowledge exchange. On the site of the Espé de Maxéville, this elegant gallery offers every month exhibitions and artistic meetings of contemporary art worth a visit. Covering all the fields of creation, you will find exhibitions of books and illustrations, photographs, sound works, original sculptures and well-functioning conferences. The artists, often regional artists, will be happy to share with you on their inspiration and work which, although demanding, is aimed at all audiences. These exhibitions and artistic encounters participate in art education and are often the subject of educational actions for pupils in the surrounding schools. Located in the SEISAAM chapel, the interpretation centre exhibits a selection from a donation of 2,500 pieces of earthenware by Jacques Jouêtre and Henri Martin, former owners of the Château du Bois d'Épense, where the earthenware factory was located. Established in 1735 by Henri-Louis Leclerc, this factory played a major role in the economy of Argonne from 1765 to 1848 and was one of the most important in the Grand Est. This exhibition provides an overview of the different types of ceramics produced in Bois d'Épense: from the "grand feu" earthenware to that painted on the lamppost known as "petit feu", produced from 1785 to 1848, as well as fire clay crockery...

This eco-artist works with crockery and paper for highly original creations. The common thread is ecology. It's all about recycling objects and materials. Michèle Giraudo brings to life a phantasmagorical bestiary, from hedgehogs to mouflons and even mushrooms, in a dreamlike, plant-based universe.
