Read moreOrganized by the association Running in Obernai, the eighth edition of the O'nzes Kilometers of Obernai takes place on Saturday, July 11, 2020. The idea being to invite people to discover and practice running, the course is accessible to all levels. However, the number of participants is limited to one thousand and not one more, so it is best to register in advance to make sure you have a place. The event takes place with music and in a festive spirit, enough to motivate future champions and entertain those who are just out for fun! Departure is at 8pm to avoid the summer heat.

In 2020, this event takes place on Sunday 13 September from Colmar city centre, Place Rapp. From 9:00 am, the top is given with the start of the half marathon, followed by the start of the marathon, relay marathon and squadron marathon from 9:30 am. The route meanders between town, countryside and vineyards, where the villages of Wettolsheim, Eguisheim, Ingersheim, Katzenthal and Ammerschwihr follow one another in a joyful atmosphere, punctuated by applause and encouragement. The 24th edition of the Lumberjack Round, a major event in the town's sporting calendar, is expected to bring together again this year nearly a thousand amateur athletes and enthusiasts around four races on roads and forest paths. So choose the one that suits you, put on your sneakers and... on your marks... get set... go! The first departure is at 17:10 rue de la Lisière in Schirrhein, near the multipurpose hall. Good to know: all non-licensed participants must have a medical certificate stating that there are no contraindications to running in competition.

On Monday, July 13, 2020 in Waldowisheim, the Waldo Races will take place, a sporting and friendly event that has brought together nearly 500 athletes every year for 40 years. On the programme for this 2020 edition: three routes, one of which is 7.1 km long, in a 1.2 km loop in the town, then on the road to the neighbouring villages. No great difficulty to mention, except for a slightly hilly route. Feel ready? So on your marks... Ready? Go away!
