SWEET SIN

Open - from 09h00 to 02h00

In addition to its countless attractions, Las Vegas also boasts some incredible candy stores. This one is our favorite! Step into Sweet Sin, just off the Strip on the LINQ Promenade, and you'll lose your head in all the color and deliciousness. Multicolored macaroons, chocolate fountains, doughnut arrays, ice cream displays, milkshake bouquets... and even a crêpière, because the owner is French. It's like being in an annex of Charlie's chocolate factory. A must-see and a must-taste!

THE CHEESECAKE FACTORY

Bread cakes chocolates ice cream €€
4.2/5
6 reviews

The Cheesecake Factory is a chain known for its voluminous cheesecakes. What is really worth it is to come and enjoy a dessert at the end of the day, rather than dinner or lunch. The view of the financial district and downtown is simply beautiful and the cheesecake melts in your mouth. Be prepared to wait in line, though, as patio seating is in high demand on sunny days. The menu is also very copious for lunch and dinner for about 15 US$ a dish (ask for your leftovers to take away, here it's the rule).

Ghirardelli Chocolate & Ice Cream Shop

It's the most famous gourmet break on the West Coast. Californians love it! Located in San Francisco's Water Park, between Fisherman's Wharf and the Golden Gate, the famous chain was founded in 1852 by an Italian chocolatier, Domenico Ghirardelli. Today, it's a far cry from the small artisan chocolate factory, but the recipe is still good. It's a city institution (renovated in 2023). The specialty: the gargantuan Earthquake ice cream.

TARTINE BAKERY

Bakery

Tartine Bakery perfectly embodies the San Franciscan lifestyle. The pastries and viennoiseries are made in the purest tradition and with the best ingredients, but by tattooed and pierced bakers, punctuating each sentence with a dude. And if a smell of sweet France hovers in the street, it is to fly over a colorful crowd of families, hipsters and other Mexican grandmothers who have come to brunch French style. We want everything here, and everything is good, so leave dieting aside and succumb to the temptation.

ESPRESSAMENTE ILLY

Patisserie

Alongside traditional Italian espressos and cappuccinos (which are far better than most Las Vegas coffees), this spot opened by coffee brand Illy offers a wide range of mouth-watering ice cream flavors. There's something for everyone (blood orange, tiramisu, peanut butter, Nutella coffee crunch, cheesecake...). Pastries, salads, soups, sandwiches and other savory snacks are also on the menu. Prices are unfortunately rather high, but still more affordable than many other places on the Strip.

A small and colorful American bakery, you'll want to try every one of their cakes. Each dessert is homemade and uses no artificial preservatives: cupcakes, cookies, pies and puddings, there is something for everyone. The recipes are inspired by Mildred and Madeline, the two grandmothers of founder Susan Sarich. Foodies beware, you might get hooked! A nice stop after eating in one of the local restaurants, but also a perfect address to order your birthday or even wedding cake!

A cute little French bakery aptly named, it opened in 2013 in San Francisco. The owner, wishing to recreate the bakery of his childhood in Arpajon, offers quality pastries and gourmet food as well as simple and traditional French dishes like quiche, croque-monsieur, croque-madame, pain au chocolat... It's a real little piece of France in San Francisco and one of the best brunches in town. Absolutely delicious, don't hesitate to treat yourself!

WOODHOUSE CHOCOLATES

Chocolatier

Enter the temple of chocolate or simply admire the window to avoid succumbing and ruining yourself! True works of art in chocolate, it's like being in Sofia Coppola's Marie-Antoinette. You will find chocolates, chocolates filled with praline, caramels, butter caramels, all kinds of sweets and even luxury s'mores, a kind of living room version of these funny sandwiches made of a marshmallow grilled in the fire and then wedged between two chocolate cookies. In short, you're in for a treat.

GUNTHER'S ICE CREAM

Glacier

It was in April 1940 that the Gunther family created this ice cream shop. Since then, the store has never been empty and is definitely considered the best in town. Large choice of flavors, more than thirty, from chewing gum to strawberry cheesecake, including green tea and ginger. Some sorbets, sundaes and yoghurts complete this picture perfect for the gourmets. All homemade. We like Gunther's character, his colorful mural and his store in a corner with a large bay window, overlooking a nice sunny terrace.
