In the surrounding villages, there are also "Rue Jules-César", created on the ancient Roman route. As a result, Pithiviers-le-Vieux was at the time receiving significant development. The city boasts numerous monuments, including eight temples and public thermal baths. The foundations of this sanctuary and thermal baths have been updated, as have some residential areas. These buildings correspond to the second century of our era, the era of the kingdoms of the emperors Trajan and Hadrian. The Site-le-Vieux site was abandoned in the th century.
