The pastis needed a showcase with a street corner. And that's what we've done! The Pastisserie or pastis cellar concentrates all the flavours, about thirty references, only pastis from the region: Pernod-Ricard, Janot, Bardouin, Girard, Manguin, Blachère, Aiguebelle and more confidential labels such as Guillaume Ferroni or Marra. Pastis is also available in delicatessen products and local canning factories. To be consumed in moderation, a small dose is enough to colour a large glass of fresh water to quench your thirst.

Cristal Liminana is one of the last Marseilles Pastis factories. Managed by the founder's granddaughter, a visit will allow you to discover the adventure of this 100% local brand. Two million bottles a year are sold. We recommend the guided tour, of course, and advise you to taste one of the house specialities: the Pastis Un Marseillais, Cristal Anisette, liqueurs, and a local vodka as well. The distillery has been based on Barthelasse Island, in the heart of the orchards, since 1957. Renowned for its Williams pear eau-de-vie, the company perpetuates the tradition of trapped pears, hanging thousands of carafes in the pear trees between mid-May and mid-July every year. Since 2011, Emmanuel and Béatrice have been at the helm of Manguin; while continuing to enhance the house's expertise, they have created new spirits: Caraxès - a blend of pear eau-de-vie and old Caribbean rums - Bourbon Barrel, Oli Vodka and Pastis d'Avignon.

After soap, if there is one thing associated with the Phocian city, it is pastis! This famous aniseed-flavoured drink, made up of many other secret ingredients, is an ideal gift to take home with you. In this small shop, you will find nearly a hundred pastis and absinthes... and all the delicatessen to make a success of your kemia with Marseille sauce. You should know that the house sells its own pastis (which matures after five months): all you have to do is choose your bottle and one of the home-made pastis (after tasting)!

In 2015, Guillaume, launched his Bariana range with a real project around rum in Marseille. As in the th century where the majority alcohol in Marseilles was rum, Bariana pupil, assemble and markets in wine merchants, rum. The range also includes rye whisky, gin, liqueurs and the famous Pastis pastis with fresh plants in the area. It also revives missing spirits. We've been dreaming of a rhum arrangé made in Marseille, and Les Canailles has made it! A team of enthusiasts whose production laboratory is located on the Cours Gouffé, right next to the Zoumaï brasserie, offer us some exotic beverages that showcase the Provencal terroir. The rum and exotic fruits used in some recipes come from afar, but otherwise Les Canailles has made a point of working locally (apples from Vaucluse, figs from Solliès...). The result is fruity, sunny recipes of incomparable quality, sourced right around the corner. Mango chilli, almond caramel or apple tonka bean, which one will make you fall in love?

This distillery has been in existence since 1835, and it was it that created the mythical Pac Citron 50 years ago! It's the oldest distillery in Provence. The great poet Frédéric Mistral even offered him a few verses. Come and try our Provencal liqueurs: Comtadine, Elixir du Mont Ventoux, oregano liqueur and lavender liqueur, which goes so well with apricot and melon sorbets. Syrups, eaux-de-vie and aperitifs are also available.

In this wine cellar, you will find a wide selection of wines from all vineyards in France and especially those of the region: Cassis, Bandol, but also Bordeaux, burgundy, ribs, champagnes… Also spirits, whiskies and rhums. Fee 30 € of annual admission to the club. The amount of tastings varies depending on the theme of the evening. Since 2001, this Marseille club has been offering tasting evenings a Thursday a month at 7:30 p. m., either in the form of an evening discovery or the Prestige evening. The discovery evenings: Tasting discoveries (hidden labels) where three whiskies are presented per session at the Pelle Mixing (Place aux Oils), the oldest jazz club in the city. The Prestige Parties: on a Thursday every quarter, these evenings are organized on a specific theme (old whiskies, closed distilleries, etc.) at the restaurant Les Arcenaulx (cours d 'Estienne-d' Orves) in a private lounge. The club also organizes whisky dinners on the theme of «cooking at whisky» in various restaurants in the city, not forgetting of course loyalty discounts over the year (10% on the price of the month's whiskies) to the Caves Damiani, the club's initiators.

Among the passions of Fanny, the château's owner, is one - whisky - inherited from her grandfather, a winemaker-distiller, which she shares with Jean-Baptiste, a young whisky oenologist. These whiskies have a taste of home, as each cuvée is created with a cereal that is emblematic of Haute-Provence: petit épeautre (spelt), sourced from local producers and grown according to organic farming principles. An oenologist and master blender, Fanny's passion and know-how - a family heritage - are shared with her distiller husband Jean-Baptiste. As whisky enthusiasts, setting up an artisanal distillery was an obvious choice when they took over the château.
