Close to the courthouse and in the heart of the lawyers' district, the Maison de l'avocat provides free legal consultations. Limited to 12 people, it is necessary to make an appointment by phone to be received from Monday to Thursday from 8:30 to 12:30. On Wednesdays, specialized consultations on children's rights are scheduled for the afternoon. It should be noted that free consultations are not provided in August. Please note that no consultation can be granted without prior appointment.

Established in 2002 by the Grande Instance Court of the City of Marseille and Aubagne, this House of Justice and Law is a nearby judicial service that promotes better accessibility to private rights. While there are several antennas in the boroughs of the cité city, it is this MJD (coupled with Aix-en-Provence) that has the material and functional means for the permanent reception of all citizens in demand. Listening to and psychological support for victims, accompaniment to the process, legal advice, mediating missions, are often challenging but effective when it comes to finding ways of resolving the disputes (conflicts of people, in particular, small and medium-sized crime). Prevention Centre, a resource where to seek alternatives to prosecutions, office of explanation/facilition to the execution of certain judicial measures, the services of the MJD are more than necessary. Participants in the judicial or associative world liaise with the services of the Court of the Grand instance of Marseille (family affairs, legal aid, judicial protection of youth, criminal service service).
