A permanent exhibition on Fort Freinet, archaeology, furniture, ceramics, common objects, daily life of the inhabitants of La Garde-Freinet, Prehistory in the Middle Ages, and temporary exhibitions are to be found in this museum.

Sponsored by Vincent Lagaf, this national competition brings together 300 pilots for speed and endurance races, punctuated by numerous animations, demonstrations and shows.

Among the highlights of Grimaud, it is impossible to miss the Eurofestival Harley Davidson, the flagship event of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, where for four days, nearly 10,000 owners of these big chrome bikes gather in summer. Concerts on the giant stage set up on the beach, chopper demonstrations, custom competitions, a Harley village, a bike show in the heart of the village of Grimaud, and of course, the traditional big Harley parade follow one another.

Every year, on the third weekend of April, a colorful fair animates the streets of the village of Plan-de-la-Tour, in the Var. Over two days, these festivities bring together holidaymakers and villagers around the traditions of the village. On the program, stands full of plants to enrich your gardens, vegetable gardens, terraces and balconies; olive oil and its delicious nectar are also honored, with, every two years, the contest for the best olive oil in the Var.

Created in 1985 by the late great Jean-Claude Brialy and Jacqueline Franjou as a tribute to Gérard Philipe, this festival lasts twelve days, from the end of July to mid-August. It is held in an exceptional setting, the Théâtre de Verdure, and sees classical or contemporary plays being performed, alternating with singing tours by French variety artists and renowned comedians. Since 2007, Michel Boujenah is the artistic director of the festival.
