COMMON KILN MUSEUM
A small museum at the foot of the Vierzon belfry traces the history of two kilns dating back to the century.
From the 14th century to the French Revolution, the Fours Banaux were a must. Inhabitants used them to bake bread, a staple food in old France. This museum, located at the foot of the belfry in the historic center, traces the history of two 15th-century ovens. On display are a model of the medieval town, 15th-century polychrome statues of the Evangelists, and the belfry's old clocks, the real attractions of this place steeped in history. This site is unique in Berry and offers guided tours not to be missed.
