Not far from Sancerre, these two friendly winegrowers Roger and Didier Raimbault are rich in ancestral know-how, handed down through several generations. They knew with art and the way to draw the best lessons from it while bringing them up to date, but keeping a very traditional spirit. Verdigny is renowned in the Sancerre region for its local wines and the wines of the Raimbault estate contribute to maintaining this image of quality. On 17 hectares, with clay-limestone (white soil) and limestone (pebbles) soils, white, red and rosé wines are produced. Essential: a Sancerre cuvée "Vieilles Vignes" red 2012 aged in oak barrels, offering a powerful wine, a Sancerre white 2013, a lively, fresh and fruity wine. The wines of the estate are often awarded medals.
