Menetou-Couture covers 28.9 km ² and has 341 inhabitants. Surrounded by the municipalities of Saint-Hilaire-de-Gondilly, Prey, Torteron and Jouet-sur-l 'Aubois, it is located 19 kilometers northwest of Nevers, the largest city in the surrounding area. Menetou-Couture is located between 173 and 212 meters above sea level and is traversed by a small creek named Liseron.
