Ferme Spiruline de Campagne, located in Campagne, Aquitaine, is a company specializing in spirulina production. Since its creation in 2013, the farm has grown significantly, from 80 m² of production basins in 2015 to 320 m² in 2016. The team's hard work and efforts were rewarded with the Innovation Trophy at the Salon International de l'Agriculture in 2016. Harvesting is carried out early in the morning to guarantee the best possible quality. Campagne spirulina is sold directly at the farm or on their online store, as well as in several stores in the region. The farm uses a historic strain of spirulina called Paracas, originally from Peru. The spirulina produced on the farm is not certified organic, but it is grown under optimal conditions.
