This zoological reserve was created by Emmanuel, influenced by the work of Durell (Jersey Zoo), on the site of a former farm. No more geese or pigs here, but a heterogeneous fauna: Parma wallaby, crowned lemur, white-brushed marmoset, land tapir, bald ibis, maned wolf, margay cat, squirrel monkey, barn owl, European mink, Bernier's teal, etc. The common denominator is the concern to safeguard biodiversity. More than 150 animals of threatened species live here. You will discover them along a 1.5 km path divided into five geographical zones. In 2014, the Bouygues Telecom Foundation funded a glass beehive to raise awareness of the lives of bees and the threats they face. In 2015, golden lion tamarins, on loan from the Brazilian government, entered the park and crowned lemurs were born. In 2021, maned wolf and Goeldi's tamarins were born, and in 2022, red pandas arrived! Please note: the reserve is concerned about environmental protection for all its facilities (selective sorting, energy saving, dry toilets, etc.). It is also possible to become a volunteer, to do an internship or a civic service, and even to become a caretaker for a day! The main objective of this reserve is to protect the animals and to make the public aware of environmental protection.
