A stage of the Jacques Coeur Road, the Museum des Métiers is established within the Silver Castle built in the xiiith century and has an elegant park where the promenade rhymes with pleasure, it is a beautiful domed nature drawn by the botanist and encyclopedist Duhamel of Montceau. Located just on its side, the Saint-André church, classified as a historic monument in 1944, built in the xiiith century and restored in 1892 by Octave Guérin, is pleasantly placed at the Trade Museum. Completely atypical, it proposes on three levels spaces recreating workshops of craftsmen of iron, fire and wood such as charron, cordier, blacksmith, dinandier, sabotage, sweetheart, joiner, carpenter, brass, brass, joiner, carpenters… fleurir the various traditions of architecture in France have disappeared well. This stated, a big thank you to the municipality that managed to preserve this construction coquette and its park, acquiring it in 1957, thus, by ricochet, embraced the motto of the Museum: Anyone who forgets his past is condemned to do so again. It would be wrong to forget to mention the magnificent collection of butterflies and birds in a room dedicated to Father Théophile Moreux (1867-1954), famous priest astronomer argentais.

WILLOW GROVE

Natural site to discover

This canal, called "canal without tail or head", deserves to be taken from all its long by bicycle or on the water since it inherited this nickname because it is the only canal in France that is not connected to another waterway! This poses, if you ever feel frustrated, consoling with the beauty of the landscape he offers you. It's unique too. Beautiful oak trees are bordering, centenary platanes framed, a viaduct of all beauty carries it, and all along this beautiful red consonance enchants by the lockout houses, the bridges, the bread ovens all designed with this brick that gives to the Etruscan world as their red was also remarkable. Until Blancafort in the Fort Fort, it's 57 km that you're waiting for… on foot or sea! Another great curiosity from Brinon!
