Restaurant nestled in a completely renovated basement, which offers an inventive and refined cuisine.

With a wealth of experience in the south of France, Brittany and Switzerland, Thibaud Schouten chose to open his own restaurant in 2018, in an atypical space in the medieval city that inspired him from the first glance. Today Le Sous-sol welcomes you in a contemporary decor dressed in old stones, around a market cuisine, inventive and refined. The menu is renewed every day according to the arrival of new products and the seasons, and the menu is changed every month, giving free rein to the chef's rich inspirations.

Opening time and information on LE SOUS-SOL

Annual closing end of February-mid March. Open on Monday evening; Tuesday to Friday at lunchtime from 1am and in the evening. Annual closing at the end of February/mid-March (see on the site). Reservation recommended. Menus from 38 € to 48 € (pleasure and great pleasure menus served for lunch and dinner). Menu : about 30 € (for a dish and a dessert). Children's menu: 12 €. Lunch formula: 24 € (starter + main course or main course + dessert. 28 €: starter, main course and dessert. Full menu + cheese: 34€). Wine by the glass. Nice selection of organic wines. As its name indicates, the room is in the basement. For people with reduced mobility, a few tables are accessible on the first floor, but with a step to pass. Groups welcome (up to 24 covers on reservation only). Baby chairs.

C'était exquis et pleins de saveurs ! Plaisir des yeux, plaisir des papilles assurés. De l'entrée au dessert, nous nous sommes régalés. Bien assaisonné, bien dosé, bien présenté tant dans l'assiette que par le personnel. C'était une 2è fois pour nous, et ... loin d'être la dernière. Nous recommandons +++ !
