Things to see and do Vannes

The islands are scattered throughout the Gulf, with a greater concentration in the Vannes and Noyalo rivers (37 islands), while the smaller Auray River has only 5 islands, apart from Île aux Moines and its neighbour Île d'Arz, the other islands are often private property, ranging in size from a few hundred square metres to several hectares. A guided boat trip is a must!

Every Saturday, the city of Vannes offers one of the «1001 town walks». Centered on Art and History, the themes are as diverse as many. Sometimes urban, sometimes rural, the walks follow but do not look alike. The places of visit are as varied as possible and push the city's borders back when the theme so requires.
