Ideal for easy summer travel, but also for exceptional views of the Quiberon peninsula, this summer train - still known as the Tire-Bouchon - links Auray to the peninsula throughout the summer. Departing from Auray, it serves Belz-Ploermel, Plouharnel-Carnac, les Sables Blancs, Penthièvre, l'Isthme, Kerhostin, Saint-Pierre Quiberon and finally Quiberon. From Quiberon, you will have the possibility to go to Belle-Île, Houat or Hoëdic, the last two being smaller islands (120 inhabitants for Hoëdic) and wilder than the first one. To get there, it will take 45 minutes to cross to Belle-Île with 5 return trips per day in low season and up to 12 in high season. To get to Houat, it will take 40 minutes (2 return trips in low season and up to 5 in high season, as for Hoëdic which has a crossing time of 55 minutes). I
