GOLD MINE BEACH

Exploited as a gold mine in the 19th century, the beach of the same name aroused the wildest hopes at the time. With its high cliffs glittering with golden nuggets, the most famous beach of Pénestin welcomes many summer people in search of relaxation or contemplation. A must-see point of passage, it is also popular with hikers who wish to venture out on the 25 km of coastline of the seaside town.
