A voir en plus de la visite de l île.
L'architecture moderne et horizontale du musée s'intègre discrètement dans le paysage.
La partie scientifique propose un voyage dans le monde microscopique marin. L'approche est interactive et nous avons ainsi pu observer du plancton à travers une sorte de microscope.
L'Éclosarium retrace également l'histoire de l'île de Houat et la vie de ses habitants. Cette dimension historique apporte un éclairage sur la relation entre l'île et la mer.
La visite se termine par un passage à la boutique, où l'on peut trouver des produits de cosmétique marine et des créations d'artisans locaux.
