A megalithic enclosure in the shape of a splayed arc, made up of 34 standing stones at Ile-aux-Moines.
The site of Kergonan is a megalithic enclosure in the form of a flared arc of a circle over 65 metres, made up of 34 standing stones. One of them, located in the north, is more imposing than the others. Its nickname? The monk! It would make think of a man in a robe with a hood... There are other cromlechs of this type in Morbihan, in Carnac or Quiberon, for example. The purpose of this type of construction has not been elucidated and the enigma remains. And you, what would be your version of the story? A petrified monk? A clumsy fairy? Or the traces of ancient rites?
