History: founded in 1922, MBL hosiery specialized in sailor sweaters and marinières. The 1982 takeover of Le Minor, the company that democratized the kabig (woollen cloth work jacket worn by Goémoniers), enabled the company to offer a range of woollen cloth garments. A buyout in 2018 saves the company from extinction.
Particularities: Emile Grammatico is the precursor of the Le Minor style renaissance, a creative spirit based on the strong symbolic identity of Brittany. His creativity and sensitivity gave birth to a strong, easily identifiable logo that conveys deep-rooted values.
Products: Le Minor hosiery offers 2 collections of clothing: a traditional collection (navy sweaters, sailor shirts) and a much more urban and contemporary collection. Le Minor integrates all its manufacturing in Guidel. The Le Minor marinière is the only marinière made entirely in Brittany.
Advantages: attractive year-round prices from -30% to -50%.
Futé: the store is located at L'usine. The know-how preserved in the workshops can be discovered during guided tours.
