I fell in love with this restaurant, located on the Place du Foirail (rare free parking), in the old part of Bergerac. Frédéric and Mathilde, the happy owners, were trained by the best. She, in the dining room, whimsical, smiling, he in the kitchen, rigorous behind his glass roof, concentrated and talented. The mix gives a chic menu with a relaxed atmosphere with, for example, a filet mignon of pork or steamed salmon. You'll be warmly welcomed by Mathilde, the manager, to discover refined, gourmet, home-cooked cuisine using seasonal produce. Here, each dish is a true work of art, where the quality of ingredients blends perfectly with subtly associated flavors. They reveal the talent of chef Frédéric, who has proven himself in a number of establishments, including Gordon Ramsay's in Bordeaux. For example, you could have a soft-boiled egg with chestnut mousseline, followed by pork filet mignon with lingot beans, chorizo, pine nuts and arugula pesto. Quel régal pour les yeux et quel plaisir pour les papilles !!!
Une salle plutôt petite mais d'une propreté éclatante et à la déco soignée , des plats aussi bons que beaux , un personnel charmant et des gérants au sourire éclatant.
Un vrai moment de bonheur suspendu dans le temps....
