The Château des Rochers-Sévigné is still marked by the stays of Madame de Sévigné from 1644 to 1690, during which she wrote over 200 letters to her daughter, Françoise, Countess de Grignan. Don't miss the beautiful French gardens designed by Le Nôtre in 1690, the landscape gardener of the Sun King Louis XIV. An almost adjoining chapel completes the ensemble. The château's museum presents the memories of the Marquise de Sévigné, with documents, objects and portraits.
