Maison des collections in Saint-Suliac to discover surprises put together by a collector full of originality

Private collections and boutique spread over 14 astonishing rooms. On three levels, 500 m² of surprises await you, brought together by a collector full of originality. The life of a village child in 1900 is retraced: from baptism to adulthood, from marriage to departure for Newfoundland. Costumed dramatizations and anecdotes capture and recount the hardships of life at the time. A completely atypical visit, at no extra charge.

Low season: open daily from 2:30pm to 6pm. High season: daily from 10am to 12:30pm and from 2:30pm to 7pm. Open during school vacations, but please book in advance. Admission is free and the price of the visit is set at your convenience.

In diesem kleinen idyllischen Fischerdorf, eines der schönsten Frankreichs, was ich bestätigen kann, befindet sich dieses kleine, zu 100% privat betriebene Museum. Über die Thematik von einer bretonischen Hochzeit, das daraus resultierende Kind und dessen Entwicklung zu einem Fischer, Handwerker, Banker etc., wird eine Banknoten Ausstellung gezeigt mit der Thematik Frankreich und dessen Aussengebiete und Kolonien. Zu sehen sind historische Geldscheine, die man meist nur vom Hören Sagen kennt, von schwarzweiß Bildern, aber in Natura unglaublich selten sind. Für Notaphilie Freunde ein Muss, für Heimatsammler ein Muss, für Porzellansammler ein Muss. Ist man in der Nähe unbedingt vorbeifahren. Der Besuch ist Eintrittsfrei, man darf am Ende selber entscheiden was einem diese Reise durch die Geschichte Wert ist. Gute Idee.... Komme garantiert wieder, noch viel zu entdecken.
