Ty'Papo, the Breton ice cream parlour created by Eric Elien, has arrived at Saint-Malo Intramuros. This is very good news for gourmets, who can choose from some sixty artisanal ice creams to enjoy in cones or small tubs as they stroll around the citadel. Caramel au beurre salé and palet breton top the list of regional flavors. Ultra-smooth Italian ice creams in vanilla-chocolate, yoghurt-cassis and exotic-raspberry flavors are also very popular. An ice-cream maker passed down from father to son since 1986, who is unanimously acclaimed in the region.
